There's been a worrying trend on the League of Legends subreddit, where Riot seems to spend most of their time to communicate with their customers, where moderators think they need to dictate the message and the narrative coming from angry customers. Right now everyone is stacked in the same thread where they hold the megaphone and it's extremely hard to talk to anyone outside of that tiny echochamber.

It's not only annoying that nothing is being done on the issue, but getting shitcanned by Reddit mods is about as bad.

It would be neat if we could all start a boycott movement and refrain from giving Riot any money until servers are improved. If better servers were introduced, I would pour so much more money into the game. 'Lag' should not be a problem pertaining to a server. It should be a problem pertaining to people with awful connections.

I can't play on Latin North despite the 50 ping advantage I get makes playing Cassiopeia a blast , I'd consider migrating my account but I'm not comfortable with the idea of three to four teammates not speaking my language...mostly four.. Can't even Rammus the enemy team or an opposing player due to the possibility that it'd go unanswered, again due to the language barrier.. That and...my NA time investment got my feet Fiddlesticks .

I paid $20 to move from EUW to NA since I remember last year I can get around 80 ping from east coast. Now it's impossible, I'd be lucky if I got 115 ping these days. That's just the same ping I got when I was playing in EUW.

IMO the main problem is not the ping but the packet loss, it makes dodging skillshots (got hit outside hitbox) and getting cs so hard (minions attack registered few ms late), the ping shown in game is a lie!!

I agree with the previous poster, east coast players should boycott playing LOL until this problems are fixed.

I remember reading somewhere that the Oregon servers were a temporary measure to improve stability last year, then they intend to roll out the new server location somewhere in the middle of the US early 2015. Then the Oregon servers will be a back up.

Of course this may just be wishful thinking.
