Can we seriously make CC stacking diminishing?

It was fine when only AP champions had cc mostly so mercs made sense. But nothing feels worse than playing vs a full AD team and requiring mercs because AD champions have slows/hard CC now. Tenacity feels like total garbage. Whether you have mercs or tabi, one hard cc or slow in a team fight as a melee champion means you're perma CC'd. This feels like total shit. There's very little gameplay to CC'ing/kiting melees anymore - and that's saying something because melees have always been easy to kite. Just throw one form of CC at them and proceed to ignore them, blow up their squishies and then kill them when it's most convenient. This is so fucking dumb.

It's not a problem of hard CC length. The problem is that damage has been crept/durability has been nerfed to the point that once CCed, most melee champions can expect to die without doing anything of value.

Tenacity isn't valuable now not because of the proliferation of CC and layering of it in teamfights, but because the CC it does reduce (knockup creep aside) is short enough that the percentage decrease doesn't actually mean anything.

Damage has been nerfed across the board. This has been a problem for a long time.

In short, tenacity sucks.

No. CC are skills that are part of a kit. If a team is blowing all of their cooldowns to lock down an enemy team, they deserve to have the full effect of their CC, not have it diminished because it inconveniences the target (hint: CC is supposed to be inconvenient). Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it should be nerfed, especially since they're giving up using that CC on someone else if they're chaining a lockdown. Don't get caught out, and you won't have to worry about getting chained.

Yes. CC in kits have become complete overkill. Almost every champion has some slow, snare or stun attached to their kits now. Yes CC is supposed to make life inconvenient for the enemy, but that's supposed to come at a cost. It doesn't require an entire kits worth of cooldowns to lock a target down, usually 2-3 and in that time, the champion under crowd control is dead or near dead. It's not about getting caught out or playing poorly, there's no opportunity to play to begin with. That's why most melees split push because there's no point unless you're a tank. And that feels like total ass, especially when your teach bitches because they want you to to group and just die.

I agree, there is zero counterplay for chain CC.
