(Unpopular Opinion) Deathfire Touch should apply Full Effect on AOE
Yeah, I know this is probably going to get downvoted into oblivion. But I still think it's true. Deathfire Touch is supposed to be the alternative to thunderlord's for people who want to focus on poke, damaging over time rather than damaging in bursts. Currently, we can pretty much all agree that Thunderlord's is almost always the better choice on most mages.
The problem is, it's always going to be that way unless either A) deathfire is overtuned so that it's problematic elsewhere B) thunderlord's is undertuned, because mages, especially poke mages, are almost exclusively AOE, especially on poke spells. But it's so ineffective on AOE champs that Poke champs are just better off running thunderlord's. The same thing happened with Liandry's; when it was released, it was only half effect on AOE, but this alienated so many champs that they put it to full so that it would be worthwhile. The same thing needs to happen with Deathfire in order for it to be a viable and reasonable alternative. Otherwise, it's just going to be niche that's only good when used on champs with Dots or with single target focus.
TL;DR: Mages are almost always AOE focus. That's a defining principle of their class. If Deathfire Touch is going to be a good option on mages, it needs to apply full effect on aoe.
