Why are people so dumb that they won't listen to simple instructions?

They have a twitch jungle on red side.

Riven, don't fight level 1. Twitch is going to go straight top and gank at level 2.

Twitch goes top level 2, Riven dies.

Nunu, back off. Twitch is going to kill you in jungle now. Nunu goes to invade, gets killed 1v1 in twitch's jungle level 2.

Okay everyone, play at turrets. Twitch is already snowballing, if you extend at all he will get kills. Riven dies again level 3. Bot lane dies level 3. Riven dies again level 5. Nunu dies again level 5.

Meanwhile I'm 2/0/1 playing Ahri into Veigar but there's no way I'm carrying against a Twitch that has 9 kills pre 10min...

Nice promos.

All I can guess is people have the Martingale going on. This is a gambling fallacy where you think you should win the next bet because you just lost the last one (law of averages and all that), so if you double your bet, you will break even when you win (which ofc, you don't).

SO, people in league die once, and they think they can get it back by gambling bigger. Unfortunately, the downside is worse here. In gambling, the deck/dice are NOT getting more stacked against you as each new hand comes out (they are independent), but in LoL, you are making the odds worse and worse for yourself every time you keep "betting and losing" in lane.

I am with you. Dude goes Draven top with a WW as enemy jungle. I tell him to play safe and ward often, and he says "doesn't matter WW will be on him too fast for ward to matter. THen he keeps pushing deep into lane and gets eaten and feeds WW.....He tells me to help him.....How do I help a Draven top pushing under enemy tower all day? You can't save stupid.

Ikr, was playing Shen top vs a Singed. You can probably guess what happened but i'll say it nonetheless.

I was almost happy that the Singed was proxy farming, that meant that with my Bami's cinder and tiamat, i could tank and farm my wave without missing a single cs, which meant i was getting fed faster. At some point he bough a zzrot, but i would destroy it as soon as he laid it. I couldn't kill him, but he couldn't kill him.

But my team kept throwing themselves at him, wasting their time and chasing him all around the jungle. I kept telling them that i could hold him by myself and to focus other objectives, and to spam ping them to go away whenever they tried to chase Singed. But they all ignored me and the Vel'koz mid and Lux support kept on running around like chickens.

Meanwhile enemy Ahri mid is roaming and getting herself fed at botlane since Vel'koz prefered to chase Singed than actualy laning mid. They kept piling up objectives and we eventually lost a game that would have been very easy otherwise.

It's not like i didn't tell them over 5 times in chat to let me handle the Singed...

Ether they are players that mute all before anyone has left the fountain or they play on auto pilot because they clearly lack brains to see that obvious twitch play coming.

I mean, i don't think the twitch play is necessarily obvious if you haven't seen it before. I got caught by it about a year ago when an enemy twitch went smite - ignite. One of my allies said he'd probably level 2 cheese, which i interpreted as "he's going to invade our jungle at level 2 and win with ignite" so i tried pushing the lane so I'd be able to respond to the invade (and no doubt died to the inevitable gank).

That memory was exactly why i told my top laner that twitch would do red then go directly to gank her, and that irelia would try to bait it probably. So what happens? She goes for the 1v1, dies, then yells at our nunu to invade him. Then nunu listens to her instead of the guy who called what was going to happen the first time and no surprise dies as well.

Meanwhile i kill veigar and live when twitch ganks me the first time, then 1v1 veigar when i see twitch bot, then 1v1 twitch when he tries to get me pushing tower (well i charmed him, nearly bursted him, fled with r, had vision and would have got the kill with charm but blitz roamed and hooked him out of my charm and got himself the kill, no big deal better safe than sorry, he honestly was the only player on the team with a clue).
