Feeding is worse than trolling

I get to deal with both in my games. Sometimes I see a Yasuo ADC who forced my ADC to go top, and I'm like, "Okay, let's see what happens." And he goes 15/2 carries for everyone! You might call it troll, but I got my LP back, so I didn't care. I have a lot of "troll" setups myself that do really well. Mostly involving tanks with Lethal Tempo in the jungle. But I can carry with them, so no one cares in the end.

But then you got FEEDERS, on the other hand. You can have a Miss Fortune ADC with the right runes, the right items, the right everything, all by the book. But if she goes 0/12/2, then she can fuck right off, cuz she ripped the LP right out of my hands and left me to rot.

So what do you think? Would you rather a troll force you out of your lane unwillingly just for him to carry the game, or would you rather have a real "honourable" teammate who goes 0/12/2?

Think about this being in ranked.

I'm not sure this will gain much on the boards because the choices are very heavily weighted in the favor of circumstance for off-meta

i'm willing to give off-meta a shot so long as it can at least be explained, but if someone tries to do something like Nami jungle, which although it sounds fun...i'd have a hard time believing it could work unless they did instead what I called a concept of "second support" or the jungle position being used in a way that stays in one of the lanes to aid them by forcing off the opponent

Yasuo ADC isn't trolling though. This mixes shit up. A troll isn't someone who picks off-meta and plays to win. An actual troll is worse than a feeder by far.

By that logic, a troll IS a feeder. But we know that this isn't the case, according to Riot.

There is difference between feeding and intentional feeding. Trolling is also about intention. Tahm that eats you on Vayne and drops you in middle of enemy team is yroll. Tahm that panics and eats u when you are about to kill enemy carry because he saw that u went under half hp isnt troll. Ye he made bad decision, but its about his intention.

As for feeding. Well, we all feed at some point. There are pros feeding on lcs stage. There are challengers feeding. There are bronze feeding. Feeding is normal part of game and most of the time it means opponent played far better.
