The time has finally come.... Evelynn needs buffs

The recent gutting of Echoes was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Riot, you have thoroughly violated Evelynn 's kit again and again with zero compensation... would you do the same to Lee? would you do the same to Zed? would you do the same to Yasuo? NO. I am not asking that you gut them the same as you gutted Evelynn, I am asking that she get the same consideration that those champions have gotten.

Evelynn was SPECIFICALLY nerfed due to her interactions with Runeglaive.. then Runeglaive was removed. Runic Echoes was a downgrade for Evelynn and so she suffered... then Runic Echoes got nerf, hurting Evelynn... now Runic Echoes got gutted hurting Evelynn even more.4

MAGES WEREN'T DOING THAT WELL TO BEGIN WITH. Gutting the primary mage item was not a good idea... especially when it was non-mages that were abusing it.

While a buff might be too much to ask, at least a rework would be reasonable. There is no reason to force the return of Eve tier.

She carried me from Silver to low plat this Season. I do not think that she Needs buffs. ;)

That is not an argument. She needs buffs.

It is not just the gutting of Evelynn and her items... the addition of Sterak's Gage and buffing of Maw of Malmortius made it much more difficult to burst or even duel previously soft targets. Evelynn is in a bad position.

Sure, but Yasuo LeeSin Zed are far more toxic yet treated with greater consideration.

Those three do not even have mana to be gated by. Those three have low cd flash type moves. Evelynn does not have those accommodations.

Why not? She is so strong you can make everyone surrender at 20 if played right. Unfortunatelly, I lack the skill to Play her on Plat. So I switched to playing Nocturne. ;D

Buffing her is stupid. Then you have to make a brand new thread complaining when they nerf her a week later. Just more work for you.

None of the champions that you mentioned have perma stealth that puts pressure on every lane at the same time. This mechanic is borderline overpowered and is the reason why I personally think Eve can NEVER really be strong.

Are yasuo and Zed and Lee pains in the butt? Yea. But at least I can see them coming. And don't start on the pink ward or even the ward her camp argument. It isn't a good one. Because if I, as the jungler, need to invade the enemy jungle just to get vision on an eve, what is to say that I'm not going to get collapsed on (Eve can place wards too and see me coming). And pink wards aren't exactly easy to maintain, especially when eve's lanes can play over aggressive because the enemy team can't have the information they need to make intelligent decisions.

So no. No buffs. Rework sounds great. Get rid of the perma stealth that removes important information from the enemy team and then we can talk about giving her kit some power back.

No. You can't see her on the map. You don't know when/where she is ganking. She passively denies her opponents information. That in itself is too strong an ability to allow a powerful kit. She can't be buffed until opponents can actually track her.

Correct. Her stealth is essentially just that; a green-ward bypass and even then that's only true if the enemy warded poorly.

And you can see her on the map, you just need to ward the monster spawns rather than the chokepoints. Remember that her fade time is the longest of any champion by an overwhelming amount.

She can't be buffed until opponents can actually track her.

And as I already said, if you have to invade a champion just to get information, your team is already at a disadvantage and that is something Eve's team should be taking advantage of. Warding the monster spawns is all you can do, but you are likely to get collapsed on and killed.

Pink wards are very difficult to keep placed in relevant places when Eve's team can play more aggressive then they normally would; the enemy team cannot respond for fear of a ganking Eve.

Reksai isn't even lose to an answer.

Eve uses a lot of her power budget in her stealth ability. If you want more raw power, the stealth power has to go.
