The only ones I agree with are essence reaver and starks.

How is shiv not smoother than PD? Also no way they should do that for Hurricane, it'd indirectly buff Kalista, which I am against on principle.

riot is testing an on-hit version of recurved bow, so it's possible we'll have a baby version of wit's end. all other don't need baby versions (maybe frozen mallet, but that's a BIG "maybe")

shiv and ghost blade... eeh..... the rest of em, definitely BT and IE tho had something to do with how BF sword was to reward players who did well, the ones who out farmed or killed their laners so you, ones who did well could buy BF and your lane opponent had to resort to something like pickaxe

I'd say I.E , blood thirster, yomuu's and Thornmail are fine. Definitely agree with wit's end, and I can see why ruunan's is hard to get into. Essence reaver...eh.

I don't agree with some of these ^^
I like the idea of baby items, but giving every single item one isn't wise as sometimes, items should be harder to build because they are so powerful. If Infinity Edge had a baby item Marksmen would be immediately buffed. Tanks deserved the buff, but do you really want Marksmen to be stronger?

Also, creating baby items with only one upgrade path just seems ... wrong. Hexdrinker for one is an exceptions. But if there were more Hexdrinkers you wouldn't have any item diversity anymore. Now you can buy Blasting Wand and build it into a bunch of other items. If Abyssal Scepter had a baby item you would have to buy that and be forced to build it into Abyssal Scepter.

Lastly, depending on how well Riot balances these items, you might not even upgrade them until late into the game (i.e. : Maw of Malmortius). At the moment the game is balanced around certain power spikes. Marksmen get Infinity Edge. Mages get their Morellonomicon, etc. etc.
If everyone is running around with half-finished items because there is no need to upgrade them anymore, balancing would become much harder.

Tl;dr : Don't give every item a baby item.

I don't think IE need one. It's meant to reward players for farming great, in return it has so much power that most of ADC will rush it. Smoothing its build will kill the main purpose

Thornmail It's fine.

Statik shiv err.. i don't understand why you put this

youmuu.. wut??

abyssal like... really?
