It's like the higher I climb, the more I'm flamed!

Surprisingly, I never had to argue in bronze. I was certainly never toxic and usually minded my own business. In silver it was about the same, sometimes some kid would run his mouth, but w.e. Low Gold was when it started getting pretty bad, if you told anyone any mistake they made, they'd quietly write you down on their list. And you better play like fucking faker, cause the moment you make one mistake that's it for you. I didn't think it could get any worse, then I climbed higher into gold to nearly plat, and if I told you I argue in 75% of games now I'd be lying. There's something about the people in high gold/low plat, like they all think they're fucking gods. (Me included) Remember the list from before? You can get on someone's list without even giving them advice directly anymore. I mean I said something to my sup and the top laner flamed me lol. Idk if I'm just unlucky atm, but these people are so toxic man, and a lot of them will look you up on op.gg (mid-game XD) and start talking shit about anything they can find. This one guy jumped on me because the champ I was playing had a 48% win rate. Not 45%, not 35%, 48%!!! lmao, Really XD? And you can bet it pissed me off and I flamed his ass too, said something like "If only garbage bags knew how to uninstall League!" lulz. I never used to be like this back in bronze and silver but damn man, these golds and plats are something else bruh!

That comes with the territory of Unsolicited advice, assuming that's the case. Try holding off on giving advice unless asked. This is also true in real life as well.

Next time you have a conversation, pay attention on how many times the person actually either asks you for advice or asks a question about you.

What I expect you'll find is most people don't care about you, they rather talk about themselves.

When you have a friend who actually asks questions about you that's a good thing.

This applies to LoL as well.

Yeah, I know how to stop the flaming, but like I said I'm now toxic as well at least when provoked. It never used to be like this, feelsbadman.

I'd like to point out that you are choosing to be toxic. And if you give that out you can expect it get it in return. Why not mute all? This prevents you from getting negative feedback and from you giving it. However, if you choose not to do this, then you really aren't bothered by it, because there are systems in place to prevent it. Good luck in your future games!

I can't mute everyone, it would throw off my game since I play adc I need to talk to my sup. I'm toxic, not because I start arguments, but I finish them! If someone is feeding I don't flame them, but if someone says shit to me they better get ready.

most people don't get this. Everyone thinks that it's the agressive "what the fuck was that dude... are you bronze 5 gg" comments that tilt people. It's also the passive aggressive comments, and comments that point out the obvious that tilt people ... "no .. no I didn't mean to flashout of the syndra stun and into a morgana bind, that was a mistake, obviously" having people comment -unnecessarily- on obvious mechanical errors when they're making mechanical errors as well throughout the game.. is a 100% sure fire way to tilt someone and they are sure to look out for your mistakes and make the same sort of comments.

You will get flamed at all ranks. Mute all, or Mute selective players.

The reasoning behind why you're flamed more as you climb is because your teammates expect more and more from you or others as you climb. When I'm leveling a bronze-diamond account I don't flame at all in bronze, I expect my teammates to be horrible. Once I get higher elo though, like around D3 ish I start getting mad at teams for doing stupid stuff because honestly they should know better at this point.

Gold and plat is still low elo so most of this is people that just got out of silver and think they're good at the game now and flame because of overinflated egos. 99% of the time the correct answer is to mute them and move on.

last season i found once i got out of bronze/low silver there was a lot less bitching then i had my mmr around plat 5 and it was 2x worse.

Huh, that's interesting gold elo was the best in my experience, even when someone was doing badly people didn't just scream open mid and tried to play back even if it meant playing conservatively for 10mins just to catch up.

Plat elo however is cancer... I had to dodge champ select because this douche decided to instalock garen top because he got autofilled jungle after 5 dodges. I look him up and what do you know he is a Janna main that decided to go on an inting spree with Garen for whatever reason with an outstanding 20% winrate on over 25 games.

People expect you to be better the higher ranked you are, setting a higher bar So no shit you'll get flamed more playing like a bronze in gold v a bronze in bronze

Was that like some kinda insult?

And then you watch challenger players stream and watch them make stupid mistakes as well.

Everyone makes mistakes. People just like to bitch. Just mute/ignore people and play your game. And then remember that is all it is....a game.

This is why I wouldn't mind staying in Bronze forever. It's the most chill elo.

A problem that I have is when someone is flaming, they are actually pretty good and I cant flame them back :(

So true.

This is the main reason I quit ranked after Season 4

When I started this game all those years ago I thought that ranked sucked but once I got to high elo everything would be fine bc all the toxic players would be weeded out

Then I hit plat and there was no difference Then I hit diamond and there was no difference Then I hit Diamond 1 60 LP and people were still flaming my ass just as much if not moreso than before

It gets annoying and becomes a chore to play after awhile

It's almost as if the players become more competitive when the game becomes more competitive. Hmmm...
