Aatrox isn't as bad as I thought he would be.
You basically stack your Blood Well ASAP if you are starting with Blood Price/Thirst because it lets you proc it faster with your passive's extra attack speed. This does mean that you are going to end up shoving lane faster than any top laner at your first wave however, some top laners like to start with a jungle camp so it's 50-50 here. You out-sustain a lot of top laners at lvl 1 with it and it actually forces the opponent to avoid long extended fights with you early game.
I think the top laners he can't deal with though are champions who have tanking capabilities early game.
beats you in damage and durability as well as sustain by the time he has a
.
will sustain your damage with his Q if you don't dodge it you can't really beat him if he has
.
Your ultimate giving you attack range will actually benefit Darius's Q since you will be farther away from him. Massacre's extra attack range is counterintuitive in this match-up.
will out-sustain you and your damage with his ultimate with his ultimate.
can win against
if you impede her escape with your Dark Flight (Q). She will simply keep running away and will keep spamming potions. She really can't win long skirmishes, she has to run away at the end of each of her combos. Your W lets you shove lanes quickly against her so you can farm Scuttle Crab, Golems or Krugs. You need to be smart aggressive though or else she will harass you and kick you out of lane. Medium difficulty match up IMO.
will eventually outdamage and outsustain you simply because his kit favours Crits. Early game you have to get your Blood Thirst/Price maxed so you can stand toe to toe with him ASAP. His early level crit damage is somewhat mitigated by your surprise heals below 50% health but if he procs your revive, you can't really stand in lane properly because he will crit you every time you try to cs. A more luck based match-up because of Tryndamere's early crits. One way you can win is if you scare the Tryndamere player with your Blood Price procs between levels 1 to 3. He doesn't have as much sustain as you and if they chicken out and run away with Spinning Slash you have really won the trade. Hard match up IMO need to apply some heavy mind game tactics.
What sucks about Aatrox is that he's really vulnerable and squishy but because he has strong sustain (gets crazy especially with a
)building a
or
with a
or
actually turns him into a decent durable bruiser.
You will die and be useless via getting kited against smart ADCs/players in general if you go glass cannon.
Aatrox often has trouble keeping up with his opponent so that is why I take
on him. Also good for when you stumble into a
or an Assassin.
no matter what I do all lane, the moment he hits his q and point and click ult I can't do much
only if she takes ignite
this no skill cancer outraged me at any stage of the game
Qqqqqqqqqqwww black leaver reduces my armour
literally impossible to do anything against without jungle involved
