Dear riot, listen to this request

Our match history SHOULD NOT BE PUBLIC, I'm getting sick of getting camped to oblivion because I lost a few norms earlier, our match history should be our match history, not public knowledge to abuse, this is literally becoming bullshit, I'm tired of seeing the jungler lingering in the brush in my lane, only to disappear and dive me 15 seconds later, then dive me again within 20 seconds of me getting back to lane

Even if riot makes it private there are websites that track it.

If they make it private then these websites would prob end up getting taken down, or at the very least, lose their match history option

What does Match History have to do with it? I don't look at the opponents match history before I play them. Simply where they are currently and previously ranked.

Match history is very abuse-able, you just look up everyone, and if you see someones on a losing streak, you hard camp them as they are likely to tilt/afk/flame their team, which should not, nor EVER be a strategic standpoint

That's a good point, I'll keep that in mind.

Allow me to poke a rather large hole in this... are you playing the game to win? It seems like you're playing competively (which is totally cool, I do as well as the majority of players). That being said, if you're doing ranked and want to get higher, what would be the end goal? Diamond? Master? Challenger? Pro Tour?

Here's the issue: every very high elo player is KNOWN for their champion picks and playstyles. Why on earth would anyone want to privatize their match history..? It serves literally no purpose.

In contrary, what you benefit from (that Pro Players do not) is the fact that you are unknown to the enemy team before the match begins. They don't know your name until loading screen or anything about you. Pro Players are subject to 100% publicized scrutiny before the match even begins.

I fail to understand how your match history matters in lower elos, mid elos, high elos, any of it...
