Unpopular opinion-When hit by Lee Sin, it is a good idea to not be able to flash.
The ability to flash to change the direction of the kick would essentially invalidate the ultimate for anything other than damage.
Want to peel for the ADC with a kick? Nope, you just pushed them closer to the ADC since they flashed. Want to kick the enemy tank back into their team? Nope, they just flashed so the knockup isn't applied. Want to try and set up an insec? Nope, they flashed and now you kicked them deeper into their team, or far away.
It would make his ult useless for anything other than damage as long as the enemy team has a flash up. This would apply mostly to LCS, since fights happen more frequently and flash cooldowns matter somewhat less.
This is also a shit idea because it makes Lee Sin unrewarding to play. Imagine this, you ward hopped, Q-Qed, got into melee range, lined up the perfect shot(possible burning your flash in the process), pressed R(possible burning your flash depending on the situation), but it was all for nothing since they too flashed. It would feel incredibly unrewarding.
Should he be nerfed? I don't know, I haven't looked into his balance at all. He very well may require large nerfs to his damage, mobility, or tankiness. Making it so that you can flash to change the direction that you are kicked is not the way to do it. EDIT: A good counterargument would be greatly appreciated. Up until this point the only thing I have seen to support being able to flash to change the direction of you being kicked is "muh fairness".
