Sure they need to make money but the inspiration and innovation is gone. Mobile Legends is just being made for Japan because the Japanese are hardcore mobile gamers. Games are shorter because Korea and China are a huge cash cow for Riot games and the internet gaming cafe bs. Prestige skins are solely for more money and look like shit half of the time. The events are becoming more predatory which each new event Champions are coming out of the wood works because that means more skins and more money. Bugs are still not being fixed because that doesnt make then money. Champions are not being balanced because that doesnt make them money. Items are not being balanced or added quick enough because that doesnt make them money Runes are barely touched because that doesnt make them money.

Have you seen the pattern here?

Each new thing Riot does is just a hollow shell of greed. This game used to be for the everyday average gamer when Riot was small and their revenue was based on skins and good gameplay. Games used to be longer and have more strategic thinking involved. Now all you see are nuking mages and infinite healing adcs.

If it doesnt make Riot money then Riot doesnt care. End of story.

you've got it backwards, gathca type mobile games are actually far bigger in china then japan, japan's main market are console gamers.

I mean, that’s how a business works. If LoL is a game for art’s sake, then it wouldn’t be having patches, balance changes, and people upset over said balance changes.

Ummmmmmm maybe learn what internet cafes are and how they work before blaming them. Since it's the opposite LIKE ACTUALLY HOW THE FUCK DO YOU THINK THAT?

The goal of most of those places is to keep you there as long as possible so you will be more inclined to buy more and most of them charge hourly or something like that. Meaning longer games are better for that. Having shorter games only makes sense if there's a time restraint.

Like fuck off with your stupid idea that china and Korea what games to be faster like that doesn't make sense and IF ANY REGION IS TO BLAME IT'S FUCKING NA.

NA is probably the region that like fast games the most cod, battle royles, hell even own mobile games are faster.

Like also do you even play the game? Since games are still around 30 mins.
