Pre season is soon but I havent seen any base damage buffs to Darius. Are they still a WIP?
Darius's bleed and ultimate scale off of bonus AD only. While his passive does give damage, he still loses quite a bit from flat AD runes going away.
The common and most effective rune page was running flat AD marks and attack speed quints. He would gain 8.5 AD from runes which would add to his ult and bleed. His ult at 5 stacks deals 150% bonus AD which translates to Darius losing 12.75 damage on his ult. His bleed deals 30% bonus AD per stack, max of 150% bonus which is 2.55 damage per stack, 12.75 at 5 stacks.
That doesnt seem like much but it is quite a bit early game. Other AD champs have gotten 10ish damage buffs from the lack of runes so Darius shouldnt be left out.
Unless there is a reason in that they want to see how Darius does in the pre season first?
