The math of comebacks

The point is this: Most of those games that are going really bad won't result in a comeback. You are better off only losing 10 minutes on those games (if we were allowed to surrender at 10) and saving 20-30 minutes trying to to comeback and using all of that time to play other ranked matches where you have a chance. The one out of 10 games where a comeback happens costs me 200 to 300 more minutes...trying in vain to pull a team together or overcome too many feeders. That time is better spent in situations where you have a chance, and saves much aggravation.

The fact that comebacks are possible is largely irrelevant.

I don't know about you, but most of the games I've been playing are actually relatively even. Even games that start as a pure stomp, still are rarely ever determined at 10 minutes into the game. What is 10 minutes? That's like 100 CS into the game. People haven't even finished their first item yet. Unless you're dealing with a something like a 5/0 Riven at 10 minutes, there's actually no way to determine if the game is unwinnable at 10 minutes.

And I highly doubt stomp like that is something you deal with regularly.

They are. Half my games are very one sided, and when I'm on the losing side of it to the tune of like, 5 to 25 kills, I would rather opt out and play another game.

I voted No. Only because I have the hope that Riot will fix the snowball problem in a new patch soon. No need to add a feature we won't need.
