i'm asking the boards for some help since my friend keeps trying to say support is their thing, but its clear they shine with mages.
so is there any mage that's more utility based, and i'm not reffering to velkoz or brand.
the closest thing I can think of is karma.
I want him to enjoy the game again, but he forces himself to play things he doesn't enjoy to much.

Lux is the farthest stretch, as her only utility is similar to Morg's, but less CC, lower CC duration, and her shield doesn't give CC immunity.

All the enchanters make viable supports, but of the disruptors, I'd only recommend Zyra or Morgana for support. The others can work as support, but do better elsewhere.
Espy Psyche1 votesAnivia and Zyra are control mages, but I would include Orianna as a utility mage (her shield plus her speed-up). The rest are definitely utility mages, but any squishy ranged support is actually considered a utility mage, including Janna, Nami, Bard and Soraka. At least, according to the new Riot definition that labels Vi as a "diver".
