Yasuo's Windwall should've been what Fiora's parry is.
The idea of Windwall is that he is cutting the bullet, like a fucking badass. And Fiora's parry kinda doesn't fit thematically, bounce back literally any damage and all hard CC stuns you. That's... Kinda dumb. As a "duelist" (literally in her title) she should've have an AoE damage reducer and CC, and a huge AoE heal, but this thread isn't about her, so forget about it.
is thematically one of the coolest champions Riot has released. The only major gripe that people consistently have is Windwall is pretty annoying. But why not make it so (borrowing ideas from another thread here) he channels his flow into his blade, to "cut" the air and destroy all projectiles infront of him, or wherever he aims it. So kinda like Fiora parry, but melee range and <1 sec. Of course the only major problem with this is latency, but as we can see from recent NA server moves, Riot is working on that. And the more flow he has, the stronger the slice.
Additionally, since he now is using that flow to empower his blade, he loses his flow, also, he would need a certain amount of flow (whether it be a flat number or %of max is balance team's choice) to use his new "Wind Slice" or whatever it could be called. And to compensate Yasuo could also get a small CD refund (maybe like, 3 seconds at MOST) if he has full flow to use, or maybe even a reflect mechanic for full flow, so if 100% of flow is used he "reflects" the power of the attack into a AoE tornado around himself, similar to his E+Q with knockup ready. This way he gets some sort of compensation, but he can't use it really unless in melee range.
