Pretty sure taking away a knockup isn't considered 'gutting'.

Or was something else removed? I've heard of the knockup removal but I can't seem to find the patch update on S@20.

Problem is Azir wasn't even that strong to require those nerfs to begin with. Plus they nerfed his Q damage and took away his knockup, without getting to the actual problem with Azir.

Ah, they nerfed his Q damage. Yeah, that's going a little far. However the knockup is well deserved, that just made no sense for such a safe champ to not only have an escape and reposition, but an engage and disengage as well.
