At any rate you can't counter Vayne by building tank , due to her W she peels everything and with full points in her Q , her mobility can match Riven's or Yasuo ( thats why I call Vayne the ADC Riven ) . Countering her requires hard CC / Assasin like Zed or Fizz / Exhaust Seriously people , Vayne isn't a god , but I can admit that she is Batman .

She is only strong right now because tanks are "the meta." It's one of the same reasons that Malzahar is strong now, except for the fact that he has one of the few silences in the game and can AFK farm from the shrubs.
