I can't support anymore (me complaining).

The ADCs are out of control. I had one ban the champ I pre-selected (Maokai) because he didn't want that support. I threatened to watch him die, but he one-upped me by just diving into 2v1's and allchatting "supp sucks." He then told me Nautilus (champ I took after he banend mine) was a terrible support because he had no stun. I then told him that Naut has 4 kinds of CC, and he went to another lane.

Game before that, I had a varus go item 3006 , item 3085 , item 3146 and ignored me when I told him he needed AD.

In my third game, I had a lucian spamming Ctrl+6 until he AFK'd. I should have know it was going to be a rough game when, as Karma, i said "I max my shield first, so you should have a strong trade" and he responded with "don't feed".

I can't support anymore because allowing other ADCs in the game is too toxic. They don't seem to read guides, listen to advice, or take responsibility. If you have any advice for someone swapping roles, I'd appreciate it. I'm also looking for a third ADC as I currently use Varus and Sivir .

adcs are toxic in b5

It baffles me as to why people think ADCs are somehow more toxic than others. You're in bronze 5 dude, switching to ADC? Expect some stupid shit just as bad if not worse from your supports.

RookPusher1 votes

It baffles you? The person who is "supposed" to get kills has another person assigned to them, and you don't know why they're more toxic than other roles? What's your main role?

BestTristMyHaus2 votes

I ADC main, I thank my support OR keep my mouth shut if they suck (which they do sometimes). Because of that I don't see most of the worst ADC for toxicity. But for my PoV, the worst for toxic are Mids, because they all THINK they can "carry" but then blame everyone else for losing DESPITE their opinions of self.

RookPusher1 votes

I hear you, man. As a support main, I rarely see the bad supports who thought they were doing charity work by being support. Never ward, build AP, take CS. I'm not saying supports are saints, but to be toxic while you're building wrong, and banning the champ your support wants...no. Just no. There's no excuse for it and I hope that person's computer stops working.

Lmao you actually take it as a fact which is kind of sad. The annoying part is that you are one to tell somebody else how to play, and then get mad when somebody else has the same attitude.

I play adc and put up with supports that play poorly, but never shuts up about what I'm suppose to be doing, or about who I should pick. They bitch if I miss a cannon minion, or if I don't follow up on an engage even if it's a bad idea (here's a constructive tip since you're playing adc btw, my number one cause of death for the longest time was getting baited by a bad support engage and probably something you should learn about because you'll always be the one to die for it not them)

I'm not saying supports in general are toxic, because that'd be an asinine and delusional claim to make. I'm just saying that people in this game are toxic and it really isn't specific to one role(the circlejerk on the boards is the leading cause of this I think, in game doesn't match a lot of what it says...).. and to get all worked up about that notion is pretty ridiculous honestly.

I think your tone is proving my point.

Drehirth1 votes

So I get annoyed in general when people take blanket stereotypes about people and try to pass them off as indisputable facts; I also find it extremely annoying when people judge others to be toxic, but make unfair assumptions about others and prove themselves to be pretty hypocritical, but that somehow proves your point that a blanket stereotype is a fact? Or did you just think that sounded slick and you had no counterargument?

RookPusher1 votes

I think you're coming off as the rageaholic I portrayed the ADCs to be. You are my argument.

Drehirth1 votes

I didn't rage or say anything without merit. I called you a hypocrite and ignorant based off of what you say. Btw since you are an ADC now you are automatically toxic by your own logic. In other words your argument is terrible. I also don't even say anything at all in most of my games so you are just making baseless assumptions because you don't actually have anything to say.

dont use Sivir use Varus Vayne Jinx. vayne will take some time to master if you are new to adc but definitely worth it

RookPusher1 votes

Thanks, man. Can I ask a few questions?

  1. Why not Siv?
  2. Is there any other option. I'd prefer not to take Jinx/Vayne. Vayne esp.
Lanarrin2 votes

Sivir is actually the first champ I got a Penta with, that being said, right now she just isnt that great, theres so many other great adc's. She doesn't really counter anyone. Caitlyn Lucian MissFortune are 3 solid adc's IMO right now. It honestly depends on your play style and who your support is.

Nautilus has a stun on his ultimate. Clearly, the ADC didn't know how the champion worked.

Best advice I can give is to find a couple ADC players you like and to queue with one of them when possible.

Besides, that isn't really an ADC problem; that's a "Bronze 5 Player" problem.

RookPusher1 votes

Right but that's what I'm saying. The ADC told me mid-game he wanted Bronze. But he never said that in Champ select, he just banned the one I wanted.

Lithium Rosa1 votes

what do you expect from bronze5 teammates?

BluePolarizer1 votes

Yesterday, here were the ADCs I had:

  1. intent fed because mid missed a skillshot during a gank.
  2. threatened to intent feed if our jungler took a single CS bot again. The jungler never came back even if the lane was getting camped.
  3. was trash and trashtalked all game.

No thanks, putting jungle/top again.

RookPusher1 votes

I appreciate your courage in coming out with your position. But the downvotes in here are real.

btw this is plat 3 elo, showing that these problems never go away.

It sucks to hear what happened to you dude, but what do you expect in a game full of randoms? If trouble happens to my adc, I'll give out a subtle suggestion as a supporter. If the adc doesnt want to listen, then whatever. Dont make a big deal out of it. If he starts flaming you for doing stupid shit and wont stop his attack on you, then just ignore him (aka hitting the mute button) and provide help to your other teammates (of course dont leave your lane until you destroy the enemy's tower). As for a recommendation, I would use MissFortune

Most ADC's i run with get too greedy... Then they blame me for their death and im like...wtf? Stop rushing to get that kill...idgit. Then when I peel super hard, they get annoyed because i get majority of the kill gold and I'm like..well no shit, I did majority of the damage.

Shut up and push forward. When I take dragons, turrets, and even cs while they're eating dirt they tell me to stop so they can get the exp... To be honest...those morons DO NOT deserve the gold if they're gonna play like newbs or try-hards. I'll take over as ADC and you can support me instead.

  1. A support can be just as toxic as an ADC. You cannot base toxicity off role. That literally makes no sense.

  2. AD on Varus isn't a must. https://i.gyazo.com/ced22170b30905803af591af5fec12ac.png (Was playing with my 5 man crew and had tons of fun. Lots of suiciding into turrets and two-shotting carries)

  3. Use the suggestive tone if you're going to tell people how to play their champion. Instead of "Varus you need AD" say, "Varus, I think you might wanna invest in some AD...though if not you're fine, just keep farming."

  4. It is okay to be wrong. Your notion of all ADCs being toxic is wrong (I apologize if you don't actually think that or didnt intent to portray that message). Don't defend it by insulting people in comments (calling them "rageholics"). Bro just accept it. Trust me, I've been wrong before and it pained me to admit it, but it does actually feel good to show people that you're not closed-minded. Focus on YOUR gameplay in ranked.
