Is that why he's able to poke you out of lane in 4-5 presses of his Q button before level 3? And then continue to zone you off with barrels for the entire rest of the match?

Seriously how do you even deal with this champ, I don't understand how his laning phase is supposed to be "weak" at all. And before anyone says it, I'm not asking for champion counters to him, because I'm not going to be last pick every time am I?

Well, if youre a champ without a gapcloser theres really not much you can do without a gank. Mobile champs w/ some sticking power do a lot better into GP, but immobile champs pretty much just make it a farm lane unless your jg helps out a lot.

What type of champs do you normally play?
