Casting range of Sightstone should be further than trinkets/pinks.
Most people forgot but I remember the patch which reduced the duration of Sightstone wards from 3 minutes to 2.5 without compensation so Imo a QoL buff is not only overdue, but the least you could do, considering it's practically a crime to not buy it as support, you're basically ripping off the role that not only makes the least amount of gold but is supposed to invest in ally-assisting items as well, the most selfless role getting the shaft.
K so I know the Support role has been gradually improving and I'm being overly dramatic but Its a fact that Supports are constantly pressured to get good vision and practically never get assisted when attempting to control vision, therefore getting caught just for trying to be a good support...
If the Sightstone allowed a safer distance to ward it wouldn't be such a high-risk moderate-reward pain in the ass item..
