How the hell do I fight Riven top?

Even if behind she just seems to be able to rofl stomp and one shot anyone. And her ult seems to do a good 1/3rd to half of your hp. I just played a game where she took ignite so I literally had to spend the first 5 minutes farming under turret so I didn't get cheesed then she could just dive me because he E let her tank turret for 3 hits and her E and Q give so much mobility. Even if I stunned her (playing Irelia) it didn't matter because she just Es and then Qs and gets away. I've literally never seen a champion without invulnerability or untargetability of some sort who can just 1v5 like her. And even if she gets cc'd it doesn't matter since she can just dodge untargeted things with her mobility or give herself an 800 hp shield and lifesteal to full hp.

Literally seeing this champion just makes me want to dodge because whenever I ask people how I can fight her they just say "just cc her" which NEVER WORKS.

Fiora main here. I learned to top during season 3 bruiserfest.

I kinda gave up on taking flash and just took exhaust and ignite then warded extra to all-in. It works on Riven too, but you pretty much are stuck rushing Tiamat which most players find boring as hell.

That's one possible solution, but high risk and requires a ton of finesse. An Irelia player should be able to pull off playing Fiora with ADC runes, but...

I freely admit the above listed strategy is just suggesting exploiting something even more broken than Riven's kit. I got nothin'.

I've personally had a lot of success with Quinn; at level one with Q you can auto harrier auto and then bully her, and if she tries to dive you Q her. Post 2, if she tries to dive you just E off her and auto; if she uses the rest of her moves to gapclose you Q and continue autoing her face off. There isn't really much she can do if she falls behind and you can continue bullying her.

pre 6, wait for her Q to go on cooldown. Jayce can rough Riven up if he forces her to back. A good time to all in Riven is level 2, because most Rivens get E second. Force a back and she's done until 6.

pick "counters" like Fiora, Pantheon, or a mechanical teemo. Machanical means you you have advanced adc mechanics down and know how to avoid any damage potential she has against you.

Once she hits 6 you can't beat her unless you're tanky like Nasus or Renekton.

Irellia is tough to use because she relies heavily on "auto attacking", which is something Riven excels in thanks to her passive. I'm not an Irellia player, but I've been beaten by some with a perfectly placed E between my 2nd and 3rd Q. If you all in as Irellia, save your Q to dodge her 3rd Q.

Riven's tough to beat, but she's not easy to use. If you're getting outplayed it's you.

Riven is all about Cooldowns. Riven is shit when she doesn't have her Q. When you see her use it, all in her sorry ass. SUSTAIN IS YOUR FRIEND! She can't kill you if you lifesteal that shit up. You know what helps too? YOU GUESSED IT!, CC or SOFT CC! I admit I have trouble sometimes fighting Riven but keeping your distance and baiting her q is all you can do to wreck her... or play malphite. Malphite really wrecks Riven.

Beating Riven is a matter of being smarter. Not many champs can best her in lane. Darius Renekton These are the only ones that come to mind right off the bat. Otherwise you're trying to be smart and not die. If you deny her kills, then she will fall off in effectiveness.
