[Champion Rework]: Yorick: The Damned Gravedigger (With Bonus Lore)

#Passive: Curse of the Gravedigger

Range: 1325

When Yorick's Omens and enemy champions are killed, they drop a corpse at the location of their deaths. Yorick can auto attack these corpses once to regain 6% of his maximum health and 6% of his missing mana. Enemy champions can destroy these corpses with two auto attacks or single target spells.

In addition, Yorick can empower his Omens and Corpses with Omen of Pestilence, and can destroy corpses with Omen of Famine for additonal AOE damage.

Corpses last for a maximum of 30 seconds, and there is a maximum of five corpses on the map at once.

Active: Yorick summons three undead soldiers to charge forward, exploding on the first terrain or enemy unit they touch, or if Yorick recasts this ability. The target that they come into direct contact with will be knocked back a short distance and have their channels cancelled, and all enemies in the area of effect will be dealt 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+30% AP)(+20% AD) magic damage and are slowed by 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60%.

If the soldiers pass through Yorick's Omen of Pestilence, they will be inflicted with the pestilence, applying the damage to the target they directly hit.

Upon recast or terrain or until collision, 1 / 1 / 2 / 2 / 3 corpses will be dropped at the location.

Active: Yorick summons a putrid decaying zombie at a target location after a 0.5 seconds that attacks the target of the spell which summoned it, then prioritizing enemy champions, minions, and turrets, in that order.

It will pursue a champion until they die or lose sight of them.

Enemies in the area will be inflicted with pestilence, dealing 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+50% AP) immediately, and 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+10% AP) per second for up to 3 seconds. Yorick's first basic attack on an enemy champion will apply pestilence for up to 6 seconds after this ability is cast. It will be refreshed if he attacks a target already inflicted with pestilence.

Yorick and his Omen of Pestilence can continue to attack enemies to refresh the duration of pestilence as long as the Omen of Pestilence is alive. The Omen's health will decay by 15%, putting its duration at a maximum of 6 seconds.

If Yorick casts Omen of Pestilence through an Omen of War or over his corpses, they will become inflicted with pestilence, dealing the bonus damage on the direct target if the Omens hit a unit, or if an enemy champion attacks the corpses. This lasts for up to three seconds, or if the Omen dies, whatever is first.

Active: Yorick opens a hole in the ground, revealing a horde of ravenous hungry zombies that begin to hungrily grasp at a target area after 0.75 seconds, dealing 52 / 64 / 76 / 88 / 100 (+10% AP) magic damage to all enemies. If a corpse is caught in the blast radius, it explodes, dealing an additional 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+40% AP) magic damage in a 200 radius area. If the enemy is caught in both the initial radius and the corpse radius, they will take an additional 40% damage from the initial radius. Damage from corpses stack.

Passive: Yorick's passive health and mana heal is increased to 7 / 8 / 9%.

Active: After channeling for one second, Yorick summons a horde of zombies that charge in a line from the direction that Yorick cast this ability for five seconds. A zombie spawns in a random point within end of the plane every 0.2 seconds, and charges at 1600 speed, dealing 50 / 60 / 70 (+6% AP)(+10% bonus AD) magic damage to the first unit or structure it hits, slows it by 15 / 20 / 25% for 0.75 seconds, and then disappears (cannot extend pass the width of the ability). The slows stack, and if a unit goes past 100% slow, they are stunned for 0.5 seconds. Units that were stunned by this ability can no longer be affected by the slow for the rest of the duration.

This ability does not drop corpses. If Yorick's channel is cancelled, this ability goes on a reduced 15 second cooldown.

Lore:

The Mori Family comes from an ancient clan of renowned gravediggers and mausoleum tenders. They made an pact with an ancient powerful warlock of the Shadow Isles in that as long as their family tended the dead, they would be immune to disease and poison, and would live the rest of their afterlife in luxury and rest. For this, the Mori family tended the graves of all of the fallen in Valoran without rest, and their lives were fruitful, and their souls found rest.

Yorick was a 20th generation gravedigger. The only son of his parents, who were barren but through the pact were allowed to have one child, Yorick was unlike his predecessors. He did not feel the same romantic feelings that most men felt towards women. Instead, those feelings were directed towards men. His parents pleaded with him on their deathbed to find a female spouse to continue the pact, for fear of what would happen to their family, and Yorick loved his parents as much as he loved his job, and most certainly would have tried to defy his feelings for them and his job, had he not already fallen in love with a young man who frequented the graveyard to visit his dead mother.

Yorick was reluctant to approach him at first for fear of his parents' disappointment, but after their deaths his burden was lifted. Yorick tended the grave of the man's mother with more care than any other of the dead, and the man would find flowers by his mother's grave that he did not place, ones that were addressed to him. Yorick eventually mustered up the courage to speak to him in person. The man was moved by Yorick, and began to develop feelings as well. It seemed that love would triumph over, but alas, poor Yorick.

The Yorick family was immune to all disease, and the graves they tended were littered with the plagues of the dead. Little did Yorick know that every time he and his lover embraced, he was infecting him more and more. His partner eventually became too weak to visit the graveyard anymore, and died of disease shortly after. When Yorick heard of the news, he was completely crushed. Yorick flew into a state of depression, and refused to tend the graveyard and eat. Eventually Yorick starved to death.

Because Yorick violated the pact by not bearing an heir, he was doomed to forever live as a zombie, tending the graveyard of the Shadow Isles, increasing the numbers of the undead. Yorick lives forever damned as the Cursed Gravedigger, tirelessly tending graves while looking for a way to end the curse that shackled him to an eternity of servitude.
