Riot : Nunu's objective control is a pretty good reason to pick him
Then why does Kalista's E not have a cap? She's an ADC, isn't that enough a reason..

Funny thing is nunu actually coutners kallista badly, his skills add AS slows, as well as MS slows. He might as well get a new animation of cutting off her legs.
be quiet before they "compensate" nunu
be quiet before they "compensate" nunu
There was a list a while back that leaked Kalista and gnar that also said nunu was slated for a rework
I wouldn't be surprised at all considering how limited and non interactive he is
She has to stand there and attack it for a good long while, and her out-of-combat mobility is pretty lackluster. Meanwhile, Nunu runs around with blood boil eating whatever he feels like, whenever he feels like.
Note: Kalista's E stacks completely drop if she doesn't attack the target for 4 seconds, so forcing her team to turn for a fight gives you a good probability of her stacks dropping.

The point is, Nunu is supposed to be the "im gonna take that dragon" jungler.
Kalista can out-smite him. He can't run up and steal it from her.
I mean, if she has time to build up enough stacks to where it makes a considerable difference, then thats not really an issue on her side.

What, you mean like 5 seconds? (assuming she's doing the herp derp hurricane attack speed build).
Tell me more about how 5 seconds of attacking the dragon should automatically make you able to execute it better than smite.
Because it makes the obvious trade off elsewhere. For all that attack speed, Kalista's damage becomes dependent on her Rend. She has a lot less damage compared to other ADCs in the shorter fights, not including 'utility' adcs.
because an 8 second non-targeted ability to get her passive is pretty lackluster.
She really doesn't jump very far. It's only overwhelming in combat because she can do it so damn much.
Because Kalista steal = big plays.
Actually, they don't say that. Nobody actually likes that part of her kit... I expect a change sometime in the next few patches (I don't know how they currently code the spears, so I don't know how long it would take).

no, Riot said it's intentional.
"We wanted to make an ADC with a different kind of objective control" or something. It's dumb.
I was taliking about the people who shout "BIG PLAYS". I should have been more specific. They much prefer smite steals.
I also remember a Rioter (can't remember which one) saying that they were considering changing the pseudo-smite. My guess would be that now they have seen how the mechanic works on a large scale that they aren't so sure... But then again, that is a guess based on one short Riot comment by a Rioter I can't remember. Possibly Meddler, but I am not certain.

Meddler said they liked the idea of giving objective control to an adc and are hesitant to limit her ability to do it too much because it would possibly be too homogenizing
ADC's are suppose to have decent Objective control. This is usually represented with AS or Damage buffs, while attacking in certain ways. Jinx and Trist are pretty good examples of good tower Sieging champions.
Kalista has a different kind of Objective control that works better on Neutral Objectives. Having a Kalista on your team simply means that your going to have better Neutral Objective control, with not as good ability to siege tower. And I feel this by no means makes Kalista Overbearing.
Nunu is supposedly getting buffs sometime this PBE cycle, hopefully further increasing his position as the objective master. Also, while Kalista can outsmite Nunu in one burst, Nunu's Q has the cool down to deal 1000 true damage at a much faster pace than Kalista's E. If I were to change anything about Nunu, however, it would be to give his Q damage an AP or Bonus Health ratio.
Ok, this is a completely unreasonable comparison... Would it not just turn into "Riot : Kalista's objective control is a pretty good reason to pick her" They didnt take out his objective control when they said that They simply stated he's a good champion

The point I'm trying to make is, Kalista is already a very strong ADC. She has a lot more going for her as an individual champion than Nunu. Why does she deserve to have strong objective control in her kit?
Since when did Kalista out damage any objective against a Nunu? Smite + Q is 2000 true damage, No other champion except Cho Gath can hope to stand up to that. Even if she rends the shit out of it.
Rend does more I think.
I'm not too positive on this but im pretty sure it can do like 2.5k
Their is no way a Kalista is going to be able to get that much rend built up, 2000 true damage beats whatever she has, because what she does isn't true damage and will be negated by the dragons armor/mr
