@Riot, time for winrate rise after a buff?

out of curoisity i am wondering how long it usaully takes winrate to rise after a buff. the players who ALREADY play the champ and are GOOD at them, will obviously get their winrate on the champ to rise immediately.

yet at the same time.. buffing a champ usally tend to draw NEW players to the champ because they think "oh X" champ is suddenly OP" and becuase they are just starting the champ and really don't have any idea how to play it. it tends to decrease the winrate of said champ.

yet end the end the winrate always rise after a buff.

so how long does it usually like for the bad players trying out the new champ and doing bad with it to no longer outweigh the buff itself that cased anyone who KNEW how to play the champ to get a higher winrate?

I'm assuming it kinda depends on the buff because if the buff made the champ EASIER then it would probably mean the time until winrate rise would be faster than if the buff didnt make them easier to platy but just made them "better"

Riot probably won't look at the winrates of champions and balance it only around that, for the reasons you said.

yeah well they are the only one i know who access to that kinda of data so i didn't know who else to ask. its not something any site i have been on has ever bothered to mention.

Not sure if it answers your queston, but Riot has said they usually see the results of changes 2 months after a change. It's the matter of "time + large enough group for it to matter".

I think that's for Larger changes and reworks, more than just number buffs. 2 months is 4 patch cycles. Unless your implying that 2 months is how long it takes for the dust to settle. But they shouldn't need 2 months if they find a champ to be OP.
