Why is Camille suddenly permaban?

She's VERY easy to beat if you have half a brain and actually read what her kit does, and everyone has seen her at this point since she's been played a lot... why is she permaban now? She's a lot of fun to play, and easily becoming one of my favorite champs, yet I can never play her anymore because some fucking kid bans her 'cause the flock says to.

Actually its because she's overpowered, its not just because shes new, expect a nerf to come her way

She's not overpowered if you spend half a minute to understand her kit. She is RIDICULOUSLY telegraphed -- moreso than even Vlad. She only does damage if you let her hit her second Q, and she only sustains if you let yourself get hit by her W.

But then, thinking isn't really a talent many people have anymore, so they just assume she's broken because they play right into her kit and lose.

You are confusing mechanics and simply having too much damage in the mechanics. Her kit is great and the potential play and outplay is great. However she is still do too much damage regardless.

Camille, Diana, Pantheon, Irelia, Win Nhao, etc. They all have high damage, some amount of CC, and a bit of sustain or shielding. Yet, once they go in, they can't get out, and they're all short range (minus Pantheon and his special brand of bullshit). If Divers didn't do damage, there'd be no point in them diving in the first place. If you don't peel a Diana or Win Nhao off your squishies, they will die (usually pretty quickly too) -- same idea with Camille.

Your speaking to general. Of course thats the point of Camille and the others you mentioned to be a diver (as you put it). But camille is simply outputting more damage then the other "divers". You prob dont agree with me but thats the fact.

Oh and what you call a "diver", is actually called a bruiser

No, Camille does much less damage than Diana and all them. Her damage is also staggered, rather than just blowing someone up, and she's a lot more vulnerable to CC.

Camille does that big true damage hit though, so it feels like she does do more damage, but she really doesn't. If you wanna see absurd amounts of damage, look at Diana or Win Nhao.

Shes becoming one of your favorite champions because shes faceroll and playing easy champs is fun for you.

No, because I enjoy champs who require a lot of micromanagement.

Because I don't want her on my team.

She's new. Everyone assumes everyone else has rocks in their head and can't play new champs.

She's also a higher skillcap, and very few people can even play her all that well. So, I would assume she wouldn't be permaban since people assume she's bad.

Ivern was banned for like two hours, and then I got to play him like every game. Same with Taliyah.

Some people ban her due to perceived OP stats in the hands of skilled people, but others are banning her in order to stop their own teammates from playing her due to presumed inexperience.

Whether or not she is easy to play against, lots of people still haven't actually played much against her to know how most match ups work out, and occasionally you stumble upon teammates who not only haven't faced her, they don't even realise she is a champ. Rather than take that risk in ranked, people will ban her.

Although people bannning her in normals seems unnecessary.

I'm talking normals. She's rarely banned in ranked, and I can play her frequently. In normals, I never even get to touch her -- she's just permabanned.

she doesnt have a high skillcap at all dirt simple to play

i despise camille, honestly. her E is way too low CD for the impact it has (not to mention it being impossible to dodge if you're an immobile champ), and her ult is completely unfair.

Niyumi1 votes

Her E does nothing on its own. Sure, she stuns you, but only for a second, and it does very little damage on its own. If you understand the rest of her kit, then her E is a death sentence for her if she uses it to engage.

As for her R, it's supposed to be unfair. That's the way it was designed, to give her the advantage and keep you from running. In a 1v1, you can still beat her if you all-in stronger than her or have a fair amount of CC, but a squishy will most likely die to it -- imagine a Darius being in your face, or an Irelia / Diana being on top of you, same idea. Her R is VERY short ranged, so just don't be near her and she can't even cast it. If she uses her E into her ult, then just CC her and kite her until it fades, and she can't do anything about it.

i honestly have only one issue with he and thats her W healing sometimes. everything else im fine to play against.

Suddenly?

New champions tend to be heavily banned for the first week or two after their release.

Camille is turning out to be fairly strong, so this is not surprising in the least.
