We've got a holy trio of junglers again (Lee, Vi, Heca) that crowd out nearly everyone else thanks to the fact that they're the only ones who can clear the jungle efficiently, busted crit ADCs left and right, a whole roster of oppressive mid lane picks like LB and Syndra, a stale top lane meta of Jayce/Riven/Poppy/Maokai, Yasuo and Camille are still fun-killers, and Redemption is the power of an ultimate on a cheap support item.
EDIT: Oh, and keystones have consistently been warping the meta for over a year now. Fuck keystones.

Anags3 votesRiven is one of the stronger top laners if you know what you are doing. There is a reason she gets banned away from one tricks in challenger.
The lee nerf isn't really going to hurt him much and from what i have seen he is still top tier. Syndra's damage is still busted.
Adc's are still meta with Ziggs in the mix. All of them get popped quickly if anyone gets on them or they get out of position

Poppy nerfs are only a slight tap at what is the true problem with her. Same with Lee, his ults damage was not why he is so oppressive, it was merely another tick on the list of things that make him a superior champion. There are a multitude of other issues with Lee Sin, Hecarim and Vi also have a ton of balance issues.
Syndra still does an immense amount of damage if you are skilled with her, or so I've been told.
People say ADC's are weak, but then Cait E+AA's me for 80% of my life while lifestealing any amount of damage I can do. I mean maybe the other ADC's are weak but it seems like Cait, Ez, Jhin, and Vayne are all doing just fine. Maybe we will be seeing Draven up there too?
Ap Ziggs is a menace at low elos... people are so bad with him I am banning him to keep him off my team. But in all seriousness he is just another issue that needs looking at in bot lane.

The only problem I have with zyra is that shes brain dead easy to play now. You can miss your fucking abilities and your plants will still spawn and slow the enemy champion and do damage.

Agreed. I like the concept of her passive, but the fact that it makes her laning in bot lane so oppressive is really frustrating.

I can barely play Taric at all in the current season. I've been having less and less success regardless of what builds I use. I'm a mastery 7 Taric with 300k, there is no way for him to effectively fight off Zyra and Malz.

Prestige Eve3 votesBalance is messed up because Riot only balances champions around specific situations and specific lanes. These days when they rework or create a champion they only take into account the situations they will have to deal with in those lanes. For example, Yasuo was designed around being a botlane champion and has balance revolved around having to deal with an ADC constantly poking him (hence his passive sheild and windwall), and a support defending them. With these factors taken into account, Yasuo would have to think more before rushing into fights. Then came everyone's realization that Yasuo doesn't have to deal with all these drawbacks if he's moved mid lane. The enemy mages wouldn't be able to poke him as much due to mana restraints and windwall becoming much stronger in this case... nerfs happen, blah blah blah, Yasuo is constantly complained about on the forums. This is basically the same case with champions like Malz. Riot used tunnel vision when they balanced him and didn't check how strong he would be in other lanes.

This ^ they tunnel visioned on nearly every aspect of his kit into specific situations without realizing how powerful/broken they were outside of those situations where they would normally be kept in check. The W changes were the final nail in the coffin, but he has been an oppressive Support even before they changed it (i know because thats where I use to play him since I didn't like his new playstyle in mid lane).

And zyra isnt getting nerfed because honestly STATISTICALLY she looks balanced. (although this appears to be one of the first times since the mage update where her statistics have been a little bit strong, nothing that is TOO terrible.
