Please help me understand Pix!

Does Pix fire at Lulu's AS or is it independent? Will it use an ally's AS if placed on them?

How does Pix interact with Nashor's? I literally never see it built on her in either pro games or Solo Que. Would Pix use the Nashor's passive and would the bonus damage from Nashor's apply even when placed on an ally?

Thanks!

It fires at the attached ally's AS because he only fires when the player does, but there's a cap to it. It doesn't proc on-hit effects either.

Oh, ok so only Lulu's personal attacks would benefit from Nashors' passive. That's a bit disappointing. If you put Pix on the ADC in a teamfight then all you'd get out of Nashor's is the bonus to Lulu's own weak autos and Pix wouldn't benefit from the AS.

Correct. You should try to place pix on a target with high attack speed (usually the ADC) but sometimes placing pix on someone like Diana or Jax could be just as good. Note, that there's a feature(bug?) with pix where once your allied target reaches around 2.0 AS, Pix can't keep up. Also note that Pix is NOT an oh-hit effect, so an item like item 3085 won't split Pix's bolts.

Does your magic penetration and AP matter when Pix is on an ally or does it just use their stats for it too, just like AS?

It uses your AP value, but the ally's pen value.

It would still maintain the 15% AP ratio when placed on an ally right?

Pix fires at the speed of whoever he is tagging along. So if he is following you (by default), he fires at your attack speed. If on your ally champion, that champion's speed. Anything else, your speed.

Right, but does it only borrow the target's AS or also Mpen/AP? Pix sounds great on Lucian in theory but not if my VS and 700 AP aren't being utilized.

Most likely Pix's damage scales off from Lulu's AP and Mpen, since his damage part is pretty much Lulu's passive.

Pix will fire three bolts whenever the champ it is attached to attacks with a basic attack, but I believe there is a cap. The AP bonus is always based off of Lulu's stats. Doesn't proc on hit effects or spell effects.

Thanks! That's a bit odd, I guess if I have a void staff and Nashor's I might do more damage than some ADCs would gain from it.
