Very Curious About Katarina

So Riot said they will remove the ward hopping, but they want to make her safer by giving her more mobility with shunpo by allowing her to use it more while also giving her a easier lane phase so she isn't completely destroyed by anyone with even the slightest bit of range. However this greatly confuses me for it's her ward hopping mechanic that helps her have safety and to some degree is what helps her lane phase be so much easier. For example during lane phase, Can Yasuo and Talon, hop onto minions? Yes they can..but they can't do that if their isn't any minions left, same goes for katarina, however she has it abit easier since she can use wards, but if they take away ward hoping, than shes no different from Talon and yasuo in how their dashes/blinks work..so no that woulden't make her more safe..it would make her less safe.

Whats even more curious is Scarra a challenger Katarina main, has only said good things about the Kat rework, so I don't know if he is lieing for he doesn't want to get on Riots bad side, or if he's being honest.

So is Shunpo gonna turn into some AOE skill shot that teleports her a short distance?

Than they also said W is guarentee gone..but they plan to keep her spin theme.

My theory?

They will do what they did with malzahar and fuse two abilities together to make room for a new one.
