"I got ganked" is not a good excuse for being 0/8 in lane

Especially when over half of those deaths were 1v1. And if you whine for help from your jungler odds are they aren't gonna help the lane you is flaming others when they're the one feeding.

While I agree with the content of this post, your name makes this humorously hypocritical.

But yeah. I've been learning to pick up top lane lately and I tend to notice a lot that when I win lane and begin to snowball, even without any particular help from my Jungler, that a lot of enemy top laners go on tilt really, really fast. "GG no ganks" and the like.

Is it so hard to win lane on your own? Or better yet, stop walking into melee range of the Garen you are losing lane to?

If someone is constantly being tower dived, particularly in a solo lane, there isn't a whole lot they can do. There's obviously not enough pressure coming out of the other lanes to draw attention away long enough for you to catch up. All they can expect to do is CS as best as possible and wait for their team to actually do something instead of stall the lane for the sake of safer CSing.

However people who overextend and expect their trinket ward to be the only ward they need in lane have no right to talk on the matter.

It's funny because, at least when I play top, I don't even think about diving (usually). I just run right past the tower and start proxy farming XD.

There's actually this principle I learned when I was focusing on my mid lane Assassin skills based around abusing cool downs. For example, if the opponent uses one of their strongest abilities to CS, that tends to be a really good opportunity to actually force a trade (for example, Ahri's Orb of Deception has a 7 second cool down with no CDR. If you time your engage right, that's 7 seconds when Ahri loses most of her front loaded damage and half of her pre-6 escape power). Principles like this can turn around lanes if you play a champ with a good hard engage. Granted, Mid Lane is way way way dynamically different than Top Lane, as Mids tend to have a lot more upfront burst and way less effective health than top laners, but it's still a principle that I carried into Top Lane and am able to succeed and turn around lanes with when I play right.

It's just sad though when people play champions that utilize really really weak engage potential (for example Olaf, who only has access to soft CC and no movement speed), play too aggressively early on, and then not only never recover but also start blaming others.
