In case anyone has any delusions about it: Riot will NEVER ban new champs from ranked temporarily

There are a bunch of 14 year olds who use their mom's credit card to buy a new champion on release with RP and proceed to immediately take said champion into ranked.

From a purely business perspective it would be foolish for Riot to stop this as we all know exactly how many idiots like this play the game. They'd lose a significant part of their champ release profits by alienating this market and our Chinese overlords at Tencent can't very well let that happen.

"But they could just play the new champion in normals"

But see that's a logical line of thinking, and do you think these immature little shits care about that? It's go ranked or go home for them and unless they can prove how awesome and special they are with the new champion in ranked it's not even worth it.

So please stop asking for this to happen as it's not worth the effort, go back to doing more productive things like making Leblanc qq threads (seriously we can never have enough of those)
