"It's your fault you're in silver"

Because, you know, I made the jungler feed the Akali and Fiora, I made the Irelia feed the Fiora even more. I made my mid laner pick Ez and do absolutely nothing to stop Akali from balancing all over the game. I made the enemy team pick a fucking broken comp. I made Rito ignore any kind of balance in favor of money. I did all that. Yep.

Meanwhile, I'm 3/0/1 bot lane, doing fine, outfarming everyone, and the game is just out of control. But, you know, it's my fault I lose.

Now, why am I matched with people who literally cannot play the game to save their lives? Hm.

congrats on doing well that one game, however getting out of silver requires great game play on a consistent basis. keep it up and eventually you'll make it to gold.

Yeah? Well that's every game. I lose the majority of my games despite doing great myself, because of fucking morons who should not be playing ranked at all.

Sure, I do bad every now and then but, in the overwhelming majority of my games, I do well.

I don't think you're doing well if you lose the majority of your games. Maybe you have an alright laning phase, but laning is like 1/3 the game.

You don't actually lose the majority of your games. You're exactly 50/50. It actually looks like you really do deserve to be higher than Silver 1, but based on the numbers, you're being held back by your huge champ pool.

You don't get the kind of numbers that you get by being a silver player. You've gone from around S4 to S1 in like a week and a half. If you want to keep climbing, you need to stop playing Lulu and Jax and spam Jhin and Blitz. Bot lane is extremely influential right now because of the weak turret and snowball from turret first blood.

So, tell me: If I have a 4:1 KDA on just about every champ I play, have a ~50% or greater winrate on most, and do well every game with all the champs I play... how is the number of champs I play holding me back? If anything, I'm far more adaptable than most people, and it's not like this game is hard. I don't play a champ in ranked unless I know how they work, so I'm not focusing on micro over macro.

And, besides, what's the point in playing if I get bored and I'm not having fun, playing the same thing over and over?

Well, I suppose you just have the worst possible luck ever. Still, if you want to try changing your mindset, try watching these and then see what you can do about your troubles. Good luck, man.

Yeah, that is a very clear strength of yours. The problem is that not all champs have the same impact at every elo when you do well with them. There's a reason Lulu's win rate is trash but has been a pro staple for years.

You can't carry every game, and not every game is even winnable. But if you do well, some champs will be able to make up for bad teammates better than others. Jhin and Blitz are both great examples because they're both very strong in team fights and in making picks. Jax is weakest in team fights, and Lulu's strength depends a lot on what your allies do with your buffs.

This

And what did you do with your lead? Did you just stay bot and push towers? Why not roam to other lanes and use your lead to take objectives or get kills for your team.

Solo-carrying is VERY very difficult (especially if you aren't playing one of a handful of champions), what isn't difficult, is using a lead to force fights and getting the rest of your team ahead, its either they fight you and your team (while you have a lead) or they just give up objectives they could've otherwise contested.

Because we were massively losing at 10 minutes. I didn't even have a full item, and the enemy team was already on our inhib top, and mid was losing since Akali hit 6. I stayed bot lane to keep MF, Tahm and Wu out of the teamfights, so it was just Fiora and Akali vs. my whole team, and they still lost. Once Wu started going mid, I left bot to help keep them out, but they were just too fed to stop, and we lost.

And even if I did roam, my one and only death was from Akali tower diving me at full health and 100-0ing me before she took even one turret shot. Not like I can do much to her anyway.

Well, I was 3/0, everyone else was massively behind without a kill, or had maybe one. Every enemy except bot lane had at least 4-5 kills, and Akali + Fiora just instantly killed everyone they touched. So, the teamfights were lost before they even started, really.

Yup that's correct. You are quick to point to a single game, but the truth of the matter is you have over 1700 ranked games this season alone. You also have more loses than wins overall. Thats makes one game literally 0.05% of your ranked experience this season.

"I always do well" and "I always get the feeders" is just complete BS. I climbed from Silver 5 to Gold 5 this season in 62 games by playing well and not coming up with the bullshit excuses you like to use

Says good laning phase.

They better, considering what champions they're playing.

You have a 50% win rate. That is the definition of "You're exactly where you belong" right now, but maybe you can change a couple of things in your game.

As stated earlier, perhaps you're decent at laning, but you need to figure out how to leverage your lead into helping out your other laners? Maybe you might also want to focus on fewer champs, no more than three, that way you can focus on the macro game more than the micro.

Silver 5/4 is hell because there are people who have been placed silver and have no idea what a pink ward even is. But silver 3+ is fairly easy to climb if you're good enough.
