With the ult delay, you deleted him from pro play and I don't see him in my games anymore or on streams. It's the same for me, every time I get jungle and wanna play Gragas, I just think of how fucked up his ult is and just switch to some other champ. I get that he needed to be nerfed, I was getting tired of seeing gragas/reksai every game but switch the numbers around or something, don't just make him so bad to play.
Marshbouy2 votesBecause his numbers weren't the issue, it was the ability to E flash R someone into the middle of your team with no counterplay. they added a tiny delay to allow enemies to flash away and kept his numbers the same. IMO it was a pretty smart change.
option paralysis1 votesIt looks like a smart change if you didn't play him. The first time I played him after the ult change, I was missing shit like I was dead drunk. Even when you get used to it, it feels to me like I'm just forcing myself to make him work and I hate that.

Yes going from instant to delayed is always going to feel clunky for the player but it wasn't fair for Gragas to have a crowd control combo you had no way of responding to and it made him basically impossible to balance between LCS and regular games too. They made him easier to balance and healthier at the same time - that's worth some bad feels for the Gragas player.
Weathered1 votesNot gonna lie, completely stopped playing him because of that ult change. He became extremely frustrating to play as because of how it felt and the main reason I played him was ult plays because they were fun. Now he's just a slave to being a good jungler, not a fun champion.
My opinion though.
