I will never stop apologizing for accidentally ksing

Unless i'm trolling around. Why? -a bf sword will go farther in lane trades and fights than a sightstone+boots+wards -it's harder to snowball off vision than raw damage (at least in my elo, in higher elos this is probably not the case) -Grabbing 2 visions wards from the 150g i got from an assist is good enough for me in the early game -a competent ADC will properly use their trinkets too

Sure, sightstone and support items are vital to the support role and vision control can warn you of incoming ganks, something that is almost invaluable, but I'd still rather have my ADC get a bf sword so they can snowball the lead easier.

The immediate gold doesn't really matter much, it's the lane advantage your ADC gets. No need to get teary eyed if you take 150g from your ADCs pocket.

Plus a fed support can be god damned annoying too, like tanky Braum or Thresh.

If you repeatedly Ks that gold can add up. 150 g can be the difference between backing with double dorans and boots or a bf sword.

If it were an AP support like Zyra or brand it would be different, but braum? Thresh? I've faced thresh's who have stole 6 kills in lane and they are no different from one that stole 0.

if you are getting farm which you should be if the enemy is dead you are effectively ahead of the adc there is no way that you should be getting double dorans as you dont even have to leave lane until you have enough for bf sword because you are ahead of your enemy in levels can zone and poke them can control the river bush. Braum with sight stone gets more damage on his q and durability in general while providding vision to secure your lane. second remember that you wouldnt have gotten the kill by your self any way the only thing in the lane supports give you automatically as farm as there is no reason for you to get all the kills and snowball but the enemy can then jump on your support and kill them and get fed that way but at least you as an adc didnt die and can now start rageing at the trash support that fed you 4 kills earlier rather than makeing sure you both are in a solid place

Oh god I disagree with your viewpoint on so many levels....

When I ks, it's actually me practicing last hitting.

I've never really gotten why some people are against the idea of the support apologising. It's not like you're getting down on your knees and begging forgiveness. A simple "mb" is more than enough.

Sometimes, I even apologise to my jungler if I take the kill that I feel like they did more to earn, even though the laners are supposed to get it in most cases. It's just something to do out of politeness.

^^^^ "Oopsies, my bad" is what i say most of the time when i KS. The vast, vast majority of the time they either don't respond or go "it's k".

Isn't this a similar post to the post on the front page? Kinda just reiterates the point.

Actually it's the exact opposite

But then you get killed by ganks that you don't see coming and that you can't run away from because you have no boots and soon that bf sword doesn't seem so valuable.

Or you could buy 2 wards off the 150 assist gold that you got in the lane, have your competent ADC ward the lane, and not play like a buffoon?

if the carry couldnt get the kill themselves they arent deserving of the gold anyways

And that's fine.

Just like not apologizing.

It's not that huge of a deal either way.
