Riot, STOP making these overcomplicated niche champions.

I thought you guys would have learned after releasing Azir. Then you go and release champions like Kalista, Talia, Aurelion, Kindred, Ekko, Kled, who all see no play because they all suffer from the same common issues. They all have these super niche and complicated kits. Now in order for them to succeed, they'll have to be really, REALLY good at their little gimmick. Now if they're too good at that, they get oppressive and nerfed soon after. After the nerf, there really isn't a reason to pick them because their niche isn't that great anymore and there are countless champions that can get the same results much easier.

What happened to releasing champions like Lucian, Ahri, Syndra, Lissandra, Vi etc who are all very unique in their own field and have somewhat simple, straightforward and balanceable kits.

So why do those champions i mentioned have some of the lowest win rates and pick rates?

Uh Syndra is complicated, to get decent dmg on ult needs to set up a lot of spheres. Lucian is like a plat+ champ and Ahri just has a mobility ult and a lot of people just want straightforward damage ults (look at the people complaning about Ryze's.) Anyway, all of the champions you listed that have low win rates or pick rates are really strong, nobody is just that good at them though. Azir has insane DPS, but people positon poorly, his kit isn't as forgiving as other's he's just for people looking for a challenge and get rewarded for staying with him and learning. Kalista has great kiting and chasing ability and can use it to jump over walls, but her ult requires teamwork. Taliyah's EW combo almost oneshots any squishy, but her ult doesn't do damage and her Q puts down worked ground. Her E is also hard to aim for newer players that are trying to learn her. Aurelion? Sustained damage but he's weak against assassins and he can't kill someone in like .5 seconds like burst champions. Now Kled? His ult is like the single best engage there is in league. These champions are still great, don't go by winrates. Go by you playing them yourself and then judge them.

I see a lot of ekkos, kins, and a decent amount of khalistas, It all depends on the player not the hater

It's the immunity/invincible epidemic that is plaguing this game. These are inherent design flaws most likely brought on by none other than Ghostcrawler. It was predicted that this would even happen when he was hired in 2012. Champs are fotm and then nerfed to oblivion because they are overpowered with overloaded kits to sell more RP on release. It's really that simple.
