Its kinda unfair that mobile champs can dash/blink through hard CC if done right...

Dashes/blinks already makes slows way less effective because a champ can still dash the same distance even if slowed, rendering the effectiveness of the slow near useless.

What make it worse is if you hard CC a champ during a dash, that champ will fully complete the animation, even under the effects of the root/stun.

It's simply unfair that dashes/blinks can make champs almost immune to both slows and hard CC especially as an immobile champ. It takes skill and prediction to land a skill shot against Yasuo. I should be rewarded by him instantly stopping so I can followup. He should not complete the dash animation and get out of my range, or into my face. Thats unfair and technically makes him immune to hard CC to some degree giving him hidden power into his kit.

Unless the dash specially is immune to hard CC like Shyvana ult, it should not complete the animation distance

I think they need to go through all champs with dashes/blinks, and specially state whether or not it can complete through hard CC.

I’d rather have the CC duration start at the end of the dash for non-CC-immune abilities, and possibly negate ALL remaining CC duration after CC-immune abilities like Shyvana Dragon’s Descent and Vi Assault & Battery.

You know whats unfair? That hypermobile champs are generally tuned to have more damage than immobile, less mechanical champs. Which from a balancing perspective makes absolutely ZERO sense. The trade off for hypermobility and overloaded mechanics should be your damage.

Certain dashes can be interrupted by dislocation CC. Thresh hook can hit and pull a Tristana mid jump for example. Stuns only prevent the character from taking any action, any current effect on them such as a movement ability will still resolve. Same with roots, it just prevents movement and further movement abilities. It still resolves any move ability that is already happening.

True blinks, by their nature, can't really be interrupted while traveling. There is no period of time where the character is between the two locations. They are in one location, then the other.

Thresh hook is a knock up/displacement, so yes it will stop dashes, any knockup/displcement will. Acoording to riot, a stun should stop a dash, like Veigar wall, thats suppose to be universal for all stuns/roots, but its not and riot is not fixing it.

Like I said, the problem is it adds hidden power to a champ with mobility. The champ can almost be immune to slows and hard CC if they use the dash at the right time

Veigar wall is a stun that specifically states that it stops dashes. It is an exception to the rule because that's part of the ability.

I believe it's called "knockdown".

Ezreal can e through veigars wall and im not sure about other champs but I dont think ez is the only one who counters the wall

EZ's E is a blink, not a dash. Any ability that just teleports the champion to a location can pass through the wall.

Which champions are you finding this an issue for?

If you CC Vi during her dash, it will complete the animation.

yeah it´s dumb. You are usually better off ccing them after they dash ( if you are not already dead at that point ), because half of your stun duration will be eaten up by them dashing at you and as soon as they are at your position they can move again

I mean, it's also kinda unfair that a dash can be used to dodge a hard CC, but other champions have to sacrifice gold value to purchase tenacity. And even then, that only applies to maybe half, or even less at this point, of hard CC in the game. When knockups are so popular.
