Questions about lethality

  1. Does it scale with your level or the target's level?

  2. Is it better vs low armor targets or high armor targets?

  3. Does lethality counter armor or armor counter lethality?

  4. I think I read something like this on PBE but I don't know if this is true. "If you buy one or two lethality items, you get bonus stats but if you buy 3 or more lethality, you lose those stats" Is this true?

  5. Is lethality applied to minions, monsters, pets, and turrets?

  6. Does lethality apply to basic attacks, abilities, or both?

  7. Does lethality reduce the amount of armor has a target has for a short time or does it keep the target's armor the same? If so, how long does the target have less armor?

  8. (Add on to question 7) If lethality does reduce the target's armor, can it make a target have less than 0 armor?

  9. Does lethality ignore armor by a flat amount or by a percentage?

  1. When they released it it was based on target level but I think then they switched it to your own lvl cuz like, you get rewarded for doing bad basically/ enemy gets punished for doing good.
  2. Low armor.
  3. Those are both somewhat true i.e with 3 of those you can deny the equivalent armor from an entire tank item but more like armor counters lethality objectively speaking regardless because if you're low armor and they have lethality you're toast.
  4. That was related to a preseason change that got canceled.
  5. Yes, anything that has armor is affected.
  6. Any AD dmg you deal.
  7. It's not a debuff unlike Black Cleaver for example. It simply takes the reduction into account for any AD dmg you deal.
  8. Yes, basically the armor stat influences the % of *(LESS) dmg dealt based on how much armor they have and with lethality it can register as a negative value thus dealing in fact MORE dmg, amplifying it instead.
  9. Flat amount. There's a different stat in the game that deals with percentages.
