i know the "honor" system is a joke at this point...

but for the first time, i have wanted to "honor" my opponent for something OTHER than being "honorable". (that sounds kinda weird but let me explain)

my last game the enemy jungler was . now playing since season 3 i have seen lee sin when he was crazy op.. and i have seen videos of cool flashy plays.

and while this WAS an unranked game it its possible get was a player of a much higher elo.

the plays he made on lee sin were REALLY GOOD.

especially the ganks. what impressed me so much was how he ACTUALLY avoided my wards almost every gank. they were red side, and i had both tri-bush warded, we had scuttle i had drag pit warded, and i had the bot side river bush warded(the hug the reside wall near gromp)

and lee managed to ward hop RIGHT next to my adc from the side tribush between the turret and gromp to near we were pushing in near their tower, Q my ADC point blank range, kick her into me kill her and then go on me. by which time my spellshield on her was WAY late (it shielded her right after she was kicked and right before she flew into me and knocked me airborne) and then their thresh managed to get an angle to hook me by the time i landed, and i since had no spellshield to save myself since i used it on my adc, lee killed and killed her and then used his Q on me and proceeded to kill me.

now.. lee made plays like this ALL GAME.

they were REALLY good. and yet he clearly wasn't "challenger" or crazy high elo or a smurf because he would STILL make mistakes that high elos players don't make. and which are common in my elo. he was just REALLY good at lee.

and i felt.. i wish i could honer this guy for being SKILLED with his champ. he barely said anything in all chat and i have no idea if he was an "honorable opponent" but he was certainly a SKILLED one. and not skilled as in a smurf who was crazy good and shit on you.. he still made all the basic mistakes that keep people on my elo. he just know his champ REALLY well. and i really wish i could have honored him for that

so if the honor system IS ever going to get some love (which i highly doubt will happen) please consider adding a "skilled" opponent.

because i don't think i have every faced an opponent who was so good at their champ , and still clearly not a high elo smurf.
