  • New item - The Dark Seal, basically a mini-Mejais that doesnt give you health or mana regen like Doran's Ring does, but allows you to stack a decent chunk of AP on kills. Builds into Mejai's Soulstealer.
  • Hunter's Machete has an onhit damage scaling with AS now (again)
  • New item - Hunter's Medallion: more similar to the current Machete, grants significant mana regen

  • Last Whisper has only 25 AD, costs way less, penetrates bonus armor, not total, and builds into two new items
  • Forbidden Idol costs 550g (down from 600), some small similar changes
  • Hexdrinker: cost down, shield scales with level
  • Tiamat builds out of Pickaxe + Rejuvenation Bead, has only 30 AD but costs way less

Huehue :3 Gangplank taking all da gold, after all, he's a pirate!

yeah, seeing as item 3093 is going to be removed, i'll need to find another way to start my maximum greed build

Chaotic Reks2 votes

BUT AT WHAT COST?! item 3070 item 3093 item 3070

FastAsHeck3 votes

Cull still seems decent on junglers, but you will have to keep it until lategame. I can see myself buying it at first back if I can afford it with my jungle item. Then again potion that refills on monster kills drools

CrazyMLC1 votes

You get a fixed amount of profit from it, since from the passive and selling it you only make 130 gold. You can make more gold by having lane dominance granted by a stronger earlygame item like dorans blade, or even a longsword and potions.

Rip aegis 10 mr won't do jack

RIP mages. Marksmen will do your jobs much better than you can, now that Riot decided that they should be hyper buffed (while nerfing every other position).

"MAGES ARE DEAD THIS SEASON FOR SURE!"

-mage mains every season since season 2

Lafouboy12 votes

Corki now does tons magic damage on auto attack (which he lifesteals off of and can crit on) and on his kits' abilities. He also has a pseudo Rumble ult that gives homeguard buff + 2 dashes (one insanely long range that can go straight into his second dash) during "special deliveries". Then you also have to remember how much they are switching the items to suit these ADCs/help them (with all of them being much cheaper than the items mages can pick up).

And this is only one of the many marksmen Riot has decided they would buff (hyper buff if you count the itemization they now have + the nerfs on other roles' items).

Anidan5 votes

Mages weren't dead any of the other times people said they would be, they won't be dead soon either. ADCs don't replace or kill mages because they don't occupy the same niche as mages. You listed the only ADC whose heavy focus is going to be on that magic damage. As opposed to the others who have their own more-defined niche now - you chose the one whose focus is outright said to be magic damage.

This isn't going to kill mages. I don't even know which mage you think it's going to kill. "RIP mages" is incredibly broad.

Voluug1317 votes

Mages DID die for a time when they gutted mana regen items. It was basically Zed vs Yasuo vs Katarina every game in midlane for like a month. They they fixed Athene's and everything went back to normal.

Malicious Metal21 votes

Damn, the new Tri force is now even more of a gimmick on Morde. Nerfed the MS, AD and AS Buffed Crit and mana Removed AP <_<

Ignis03 votes

All I know is that anti adc comps are coming up and these triforces buffs helps my favorite pony Hecarim dive those lines.

CoolKnightST1 votes

Morde didn't build item 3078 anymore anyway. Now it's more like item 3116 item 3111 for it's core. After that he mostly goes tank or full AP. Why would you go tri-force if you can perma slow enemies with your dragon.

LankPants13 votes

Nerfs across the board to account for the nerf to Last Whisper.

It's good to know that Riot still despises tanks.

Pyro14 votes

Rotational roster of champions "Sejuani and Sion were OP for a while because Cinderhulk, so we'll keep them nerfed for the next two years" at its finest.

Meep Man2 votes

Well, about half a year ago, everyone thought they loved them. Strange.

BattleBalladeer2 votes

I wouldn't even call the nerf to Last Whisper an actual nerf since it gets to build into something now. The former god of gold efficiency will probably end up being 1/2 the new god of gold efficiency.

MeesterMoo9 votes

Season 6 is going to start off so complicated. Worse than last year

Wow you are still updating this. Remind me. To check back later when you get more info!

Uhhhh All this stuff I need to re-do ALL of my builds..

Wait, you don't even get mana sustain unless you spend all your starting gold on a flask?

That is the stupidest thing ever.

aside from a few champions who built flask. who got mana potions at level one? and the ones that got flask already spent almost all thier gold on it anyways.

Cynika15 votes

mage supports (sona, janna, lulu, etc) buy mana pots at start. This will hurt them pretty bad unless riot delivers on their promise to relieve mana issues during preseason.

Also Diana.

sreggad2 votes

If your spamming your abilities to the point you need to drink a mana potion your playing support wrong. getting the mana regen masteries with a spellthief is enough mana regen as long as you don't spam your abilities. Your gonna get more lane time with a health pot than you are gonna get with a mana bot as any of those supports. not to mention most supports have the biscuit anyway so they get health anyways for the upgrade.

Cynika6 votes

Maybe it's just my ELO but with sona I almost always burn through my mana trying to keep my adc alive. Maybe if they actually upped the healing on her w or reduced the mana cost it wouldn't be nearly as bad, but fuck sona amirite

ForeverLaxx2 votes

The people who say things like "just don't spam your abilities" are usually said by players who typically play solo lanes, or when forced into a support role will play kill supports that rarely use their skills until it's time to burst someone down. They aren't generally playing a champion that's expected to do certain things that don't involve killing the enemy and they can't understand why people can have mana issues in the beginning of the game. For instance, the guy you're having the argument with spams Leona for his support role and has a game with Ryze (who builds Tear early). Is it any wonder he doesn't get the problem?

Your Mom Wards1 votes

Actually a support who can effectively harass by spamming will allow adc to farm and easily take lane. I don't enjoy being supported by a champ who just runs around taking it easy and acting as a distraction only.

sreggad1 votes

That's all fine till the support runs out of mana and then you have to rely on summoners to keep you alive due to having no mana. or the support going back alone and leaving you alone for the enemy to push you completely out of lane or kill you.

I'm not saying a support shouldn't poke or cause damage. but if your spamming your abilities even if you land a hit on everyone of them. your gonna be OOM before they get pushed out of lane.

xFrostKnightx4 votes

Spell thief has +25/100/150% mana regen from +25/50/50% mana regen

Sona uses this, Janna uses this, Lulu uses this.

They put more mana regen into spell thief to compensate for missing mana pots for supports.

I PREACHER I2 votes

Did you just say Janna uses spell thief's edge?

RIP Mages, RIP Tanks. Welcome to the AD Meta. Assassin+Bruiser+ADC circlejerk slaughterfest every game where everyone dies in 1-2 hits.

Vekkna5 votes

Yep. All AD all the time. Fighters, bruisers, Devourer junglers, juggernauts, ADCs, AD assassins all get insane buffs from these items and mastery changes.

Just the sheer volume of healing they get now from items that are (or will be) standard across the board is mindblowing. Lifesteal masteries with lifesteal starting items with lifesteal core AD items and lifesteal procs from all kinds of other items. Now with the added bonus of lifestealing from physical damage abilities and total immunity to assassination. What the actual fuck.

Sasogwa6 votes

I'm pretty concerned with two things : Rapid Firecannon seems broken as fuck (2500 gold for increased range, 30% critical strike and attack speed , plus a 50-200 on-hit magic damage? Wut?) and Last Whisper, despite filling more his niche, seems to make squishy champions even stronger and bruisery/tank champions even weaker (phantom dancer also gives them improved duelling) [guess I'll keep playing Master Yi]

Otherwise, Botrk nerf -> FINALLY YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS 5 attacks per second for Kog'maw W with reduced damage but full on-hit -> this looks freaking scary Graves -> reload system seems weird, especially that you apparently can't reload if there's nothing to attack (???) Trinity with cdr -> interesting 5 seconds Grievous wounds applied on autoattacks -> Oh well, people wanted grievous wounds, but isn't this a bit too easy and too strong of a counter against specific champions? (Swain DrMundo ) Rageblade gives on-hit based on AD and AP -> interesting possible builds for Jax/Kayle/Xin? But you need full stacks for the on-hit to appear :s Straight up buff on the magic resist items? errrrr

Pyro2 votes

Keep in mind Firecannon is not a persistent effect. It only applies to Energized attacks.

Sasogwa2 votes

What I wonder is if just moving the slightest bit will instantly make the next attack energized or you have to move a lot/attack a bunch to make the next attack energized (slow charging like statikk). Because every decent ADC knows how to hit and run, making every autoattack energized if it's the first option.

Meep Man4 votes

I would say its exactly like the current Statikk Shiv, just different passive.

Saianna4 votes

Wit's End is still useless

Hahahahaha

L Rayquaza4 votes

I was sorta hoping the brought back item 3844 item 3841 and item 3840, they were really cool on supports that promote an aggressive lane that don't benefit from AP as much

PiVoRx1 votes

Shitload of ad nerfs but Zhonya untouched? Riot pls..

Xanes15 votes

Zhonyas is nerfed, -20 AP, -5 Armor, +200 gold.

PiVoRx1 votes

Nobody cares about its base stats, active alone is worth 4000 gold.

Voluug1312 votes

And mobility is worth infinite gold.

Guess which one cant be bought ingame?

LankPants16 votes

If the active was worth 4k everyone would build it and it would be the first item every mid would buy.

BattleBalladeer4 votes

Full AP Zed , LETS GO

wait did i read this right...no more spooky ghosts??

no more spooky ghosts =(

Pyro4 votes

Spooky icy ghosts now. FQC has the Twin Shadows active.

So if sightstone gets an upgrade with tier 2 supp items, does that mean we no longer build the full supp item or do we have to buy the same item two times: one for the sightstone upgrade and the other for the full supp item? Sorry for the noob question.

You don't have to upgrade the Sightstone with the support item, you're still free to leave it as is or upgrade it into Ruby Sightstone. You can either build the Sightstone/Gold Item fusion or the fully upgraded Gold Item. You won't get both because you can only have one gold income item.

Think of the tier 2 support items like any items that can upgrade into multiple things.
