Is ekko still a top ban in ranked?

I've been really wanting to climb

but I don't know if my primary go-to choice is still a top ban

any info is immensely welcome, I know there's websites

but that only provides data, not actual player opinion, which is something I also would like to know.

not really. They nerfed him so much that he is just mediocre. Good in the right hands but nothing special in the hands of us bronzies.

Have not seen him in my last 10 ranked games. Picked or Banned.

There's far higher priority bans with Swain and Vlad now who can deal more damage while being even tankier in an AOE.
