Why are there no champs who...?

Not that I want League of Legends to become anything like overwatch, but why are there not any champions who place shields on the ground like Orisa?

We will not mention Yasuo because his shield is time limited. Orisa’s is health limited (it is time limited as well but it has a LONG time to disappear compared to Yasuo).

Idk... this kind of mechanic still hasn’t been featured in league. And I don’t think Overwatch can “copyright” a mechanic.

What if we had a new mid champion, who threw down a shield to protect herself? Now the thing about this shield is that it negates damage AND negates point and click abilities, so if your someone like Zed and the shield is directly in front of you, you can’t just freely whipe her on the floor. That’s something that I really think League should expand upon if point and click heroes like Evelyn, Zed, and Kha’zix are going to be overly powerful.
