Ornn is still impossible to trade against btw

If anything this patch was a net buff for him, they nerfed precision for bruisers again and nerfed kelpto for melee champions, so now ornn auto win lanes even eaiser by mashing W on cd, and to make it even better hes completely unkillable if he goes aftershock, the trades of like this :

He presses W + aa, you lose 30~40% of your health as a bruiser, meanwhile he procs aftershock + his w shield, so now he has over 100 armor and mr at lvl 3 so you cant even break his shield, nice fking game.

Joke of live design team btw.

I've found success playing strong laners into Ornn. Specifically Renekton and Illaoi.

Illaoi is kind of a cop out here since she can hit him with ranged junk, but if you have a couple tentacles up or get your E on him you can actually trade favorably straight up with autos and W.

Renekton is pretty simple here too, just make sure you have a stack of rage before the trade. His trade pattern generally pushes the wave, and you'll want to auto the wave some to keep Rage stacks. Orn's push not quite as good. So you should typically have a small wave advantage and can go in, do a quick trade and walk away or E out.

Renekton? Are you trolling? And illaoi is overtuned now, the whole "counter an OP with another OP" is very bad for the game.

Renekton is one of the worst top laners in the game (45% wr top lane in diamond+ with like no pick rate), he gets shit on by tanks at all stages of the game now.

I've been able to do consistently well with him against tanks. You just have to win through lane. Tanks are hands down better right now, but I just take Grasp on him with Domination secondary with Cheap shot and the healing one. I trade repeatedly and just lane bully.

It does suck because your only avenue to win is strictly by consistently bullying and split pushing, but if you are lucky and don't get camped it's pretty reliable. You just won't team fight too well.

That feels like that’s always been the Fighter style. Win lane, splitpush.
