We're going to do a full update (Poppy/Taric level) on Evelynn instead at some point given the age of her art and her kit challenges.

To what ends? What about her kit is seen as unhealthy? Will she be keeping her passive? Will she still focus on assassinating key targets down via burst?

I really like her Q/W/E, and Passive, personally, but if it's on the level of Poppy/Taric, it sounds like little of it will be kept.

Urgot hasn't been officially slotted. Plus, Warwick will be out early in the new year, with Galio probably a few months later... so there's still room for at least two more.

They have said she is a high candidate for 2017.

Eh... where did you hear that? They recently said she was a HIGH Priority as the List was Galio, Eve, Urgot... at the top. So she's right there.

pls don't change her kit!! none of us evelynn mains want her changed. the only thing that i would tolerate is ult changes. otherwise just visuals and sound pls. her kit is weak, but it's to compensate for her super strong passive and that ok cause that's what us eve mains like about her. pls don't take her so that you can feed her soul to the majority of league players. they have enough champs to use, so PLEASE to take BAE from me!!

They have to change her kit not only for gameplay reasons, but because she's likely going to recieve a big change in character & thematic. They want the gameplay to be in line with her narrative side.

what? you have a problem with tank eve? the only time you go tank eve is when you are losing and you just need to survive. she is a really bad tank. she can go bruiser alot better(which is probable what you're talking about), but bruiser =/= tank. there really aren't any numbers to change since her base stats are already low. the only thing in her kit that works with tanky items is her ult, but that's a whole other deal.

100% with you on her not changing, I like her kit as is. The only thing I wouldn't mind would be a change in her ult.

ya, but i thought you guys said numerous times before that she was atleast going to get small tweaks for the assassin update to last her over until the rework. What happened? all the assassins seem to have gotten some benefit for pre season except eve. considering we might not see changes for her for another 6 or more months, thats not really cool.

hell even EKKO, a fairly new champ, got changes where as eve didnt, unless im missing something.

Yes we get that but Evelynn has been classified as an assassin (Mage assassin but whatever) since the beginning of the game and this is supposed to be "The Assassin Rework Phase".... why was she was thrust aside ? I understand larger scale reworks require more effort but it strikes me as odd that Katarina is receiving such large changes while Evelynn is left in the dust.

What the fuck are you talking about? How was she betrayed? Riot choose not to give her small changes then complete replace them soon (by Riot's standards) after.

You have to remember they don't have the resources to do large VGUs during a roster update. Do you want Eve to be another Mordekaiser? And the time frame between the Assassin roster & her VGU is probably too little (again, by Riot's standards) to bother with any changes. She's still on the table for balance changes.

Katarina's changes required very little visual work and only introduce one new ability. They may feel like a lot, but they took relatively little actual work to accomplish. Eve would need completely redone visuals and for every ability to be changed in a major way. It's not even close to the same thing.

The assassin rework phase is for a few moderate scale reworks and some minor design changes. Eve needs huge work. That means this is the wrong time to work on her.

Unless, of course, you want another half-assed rework that doesn't actually solve any problems. Is that what you want? Because that's what you get when you take what needs to be a large rework and try and force it into a class update.

ok so i was partially wrong. apprently with the camouflage change eve will no longer get taken out of stealth if damaged. thats kinda neat, DoTs wont delay her restealth anymore and skillshots like ezreals Q wont break my stealth (but they will still know im around if it hits me since it seems to leave an after image/ghost of my last location)

pretty nice change. but thats all i noticed so far. aside from that she is pretty much exactly the same as live.
