98% of us D+ ones really dgaf until the team goes absolutely full retard/spams FF/complains about everything/intentionally tries to lose while expecting people to carry them.
Trust me. We actually don't really enjoy having to climb all the way from silver back up the mmr ladder. It's tedious, repetitive, annoying, but it's pre' much the only way we can get accounts up to our mmr level. It's also the only way we can actually practice new champions without tanking our main accounts into absolute dog shit. It's how those people get perma stuck because they hit a new mmr range, their champs get banned out/nerfed/etc etc. Then the player that got there playing . . . idfk
You know, some shit like that. They all got nerfed. So, what does he do?
I'm a Zed main now boiz! And instead of creating a smurf account to gradually get better and climb with, he goes on a 40 game loss streak and becomes the amazing gate keeper of that mmr.
I know a lot of people will go, "But normals!" Normals don't teach you shit tbh. It's very rare I ever not go some shit like 24/5/18 in a normal game as champions I try to improve on. And the other games I go 0/6/1 because my team is a bunch of level 25 players and the enemy team is nothing but master/challenger players that just fucking roll over all of my laners + jungler and end the game in 15 minutes and there's literally nothing I can do as ADC. Neither one of those types of games help me. At all.
Then you factor in additionally people in very very very very like challenger don't like constantly getting banned out of their champs/stream sniped. So they constantly make new accounts to try and avoid that. Let's not forget queue times are sometimes 45 minutes to an hour +, and some people give up and start blatantly trolling. Two to three dodges later, you could be sitting there for 5 fucking hours on your main just to play 1 single game. So what do you to change that? Play on another account. Only way you can get an account up there? Starting at silver 3 and playing 250+ games to get there and go through all the tilting raging intentionally losing crybabies all the way up there.
It's actually pre' fucking annoying tbh. Trust me, the majority of us don't actually like the whole process. I'm usually out of silver within the first 20-30 games, and out of gold in 40 games. Give or take my mood. But those 90-100 games are down right annoying, and often times I don't even want my team to win because they 80% of the time don't even deserve it with their attitude/play style. It takes a diamond smurf to win you a game you should have won 30 minutes ago if you had half a brain cell? And you're going to bitch, and also shit talk the enemy team? lol kk dude.
I'd tl;dr this. But frankly there's no point to. But if you want to know why the very high elo is smurfing, this is why. ((I'm not talking about the gold 5 smurfs smurfing in low silver that are actually not really any better than the standard s3 player.)) I'm talking about people in the upper mmr.
