Look at the whole picture:

They won 5vs0, without too much damage on their tanks.
The fight ended under the enemy T1 in mid, with FNC minions already passing the river
They had a perfect team for the situation: Mao and Trundle to tank the tower to not lose minions, Orianna that build straight AP (Deathcap, and AP tower damage was buffed this season), Graves who has increased damage to structures if he gets close (and with no enemy alive, he would not be punished for getting close) and Ezreal with Sheen and Blade, who can use his W to give his entire team an AS boost

Overall, the game would have ended there even with S5's death timers and towers - it was literally the perfect storm for FNC to win.

So? It would be same if H2K won teamfight. What does it matter? Its not like it gives one team advantage over other. What does it matter if it happens on minute 30 or minute 50?

I think his point was that you can win one temfight midgame and proceed to melt the entire base no matter how fed you are.

Yes the death timers need to be shorter across the boards since many games do not last to 35 minutes these days.
