Stop bashing Karma, not every champion in League needs 500+ mechanics!

I LIKE that Karma is doing all things, she's a jack of all trades that provides a lot of coverage. She is good for people, like me, who do not want to overspecialise in our support. She is as versatile as Thresh who can also do everything (but nobody ever complains about him - favouritism much?)

Some people like a more generic, less technical design that provides a few decent features. Not ever champion needs to be stupidly over-complicated in their design. Karma is not broken, there is nothing wrong with her, the new items like item 3504 etc made her a powerhouse, and spotlight in LCS (Thanks "pro's" for ruining something else). Karma has been the same way in league for a long time and there is nothing wrong with her.

There are different ways you can build her, she's not a boring linear support like Soraka or the reworked Taric BOTH who can't function by themselves.

The problem with all the "reworked" supports is that Riot took away their ability to go ANY other lane but support. Taric, Soraka and Zilean, ALL have parts of their kits that rely on other people being in lane with them. If you take them out of lane, you are depriving them of essential parts of their kit. (Zilean can't use his passive on himself, Soraka can't use her W on herself, etc). That is just WRONG.

Riot is deliberately tying a supports success on the people they are in lane with! This is just so wrong, on so many levels. I do not want my kit to be tied to somebody else in lane and I do not want to play a support with crap starter damage like Janna or only has one job or gimmick (Blitzcrank, Bard, Braum). I like supports that can actually protect themselves and stand up for themselves and are not so pathetic that they are tied to the success of their ADC and you WISH that they are a good player, even Kalista does not need her ult or bind thing to wreck the lane.

Karma is about the last support with a decent flexible kit and good damage. (Not counting Morgana and Lux, who were never really supports but mid lane mages downgraded to support because Zed and Yasuo came out.)

I fail to see anything wrong with how Karma preforms now. The problems are the ITEMS, not her. If she changes like Taric or Zilean did, I will quit league because that will be the THIRD time that Riot destroyed a champion I loved and made them much less rewarding to play.

Zilean Does just fine mid lane though. I'm confused.

Yes, he does fine but he still has a passive that he cannot use. Why would you pick a champion that has effectively has no passive, when you could have one that does have a passive and could preform better. How often do you see Zilean mid?

I don't see zilean played often even as a support, but supposedly he's taken mid about 35% of the time he's picked. Just roam bot or use his passive on the jg.

Sorry, but I can't play ranked yet where they may show up. Those champions rarely show up in normal pvp though, where I go.

  1. I've seen a Zilean go 13/1 before. Not many people take time to learn to use him good. His passive helps his team level up faster than the enemy team, giving them higher level skills.
  2. Taric can be used as a tank.
  3. Bard helps set up ganks and can also do top lane when used right.
  4. Janna has great disengage in her ult.
  5. Thresh Cannot do mid or be on his own very well.
  6. Lux is one of the strongest mid lane mages. She's more mage than support.
  7. Morgana Also more mage than support.
  8. Soraka can help in team fights alot

I'm not saying they arn't helpful, I just find them a bit linear and prefer a jack of all trades.

Karma is broken and oppresive. Wouldn't mind seeing her just deleted from the game.

keep her at bottom. she has no need to be at mid.

She's broken, just delete her already!
