Actually, I feel like Silver I and Gold V is literally the worst place to be if you want a good, satisfying game.
Bronze people tried, some were toxic, but they tried, and often failed.
Silver 5 & 4 is major blame game. Everyone thinks they're Faker or Bjergsen, and they can run over everyone else. Also, there's always a guy that talks about your mom.
Silver 3 is less that guy that talks about your mom, but the huge tilt games begin to go away. When I was in Silver 4 & 5, I'd go on ten game win streaks, then ten game loss streaks. Here, it begins to even out.
Silver 2 I got out of it fairly quickly.
Being in SIlver I and playing with Gold Vs, really is a bummer. Literally, they think the game is over at five minutes. Somebody gets fed, gg, they give up.
I have about seven games straight where I gave this mini speech about giving up. Literally sounded like this,
"Damn, you Silver Is and Gold Vs give up so easy. If America gave up this easily, we'd be the United States of Britain."
If you want to get out, find a duo partner and be in complete communication. Find the FOTM champion. Use na.op.gg to your advantage, and always look up your teammates. Some guy wants ADC? Look him up. If he plays mostly top and has a 20% win ratio with Lucian after 40 games, yeah you can still his role. It's probably better. Always understand what your up against so you can prepare around it.
I made it to Gold playing Ashe, Sona, Soraka, Braum, Caitlyn, and a little Ahri. Ashe was FOTM but I mained her since last season, and Soraka kind of shined in there for a couple of days.
Keep believing. It took determination and the discovery of a new me before I realized what Gold material was. LoL can be cruel. Just look at my Boards history. Got downvoted because objectifying men get upset when I call that girl on /All Chat a baffoon because of her one-line interruptions on the show.
You can do it.
