its not that people in my elo are bad

its just that they're so quick to rage and start making bad decisions over ONE mistake made by someone else.

i couldn't tell you how many games i've lost because its 5 mintues in the game and someone's already spamming "GG" over 2 deaths.

this is the number one cause of why im trapped in silver 4. because people quit WAY too soon.

i wish people would just shut up, stop typing, and JUST PLAY.

They still do it in gold. They still do it in platinum.

No, we're definitely bad.

Thats why it is up to us as individuals to step up and take command of the team. Quell the whiners and encourage teamwork. Forge an unbreakable bond of trust between the 5 of you. If one person struggles the rest of the team is there to back them up. If one is being preyed upon by assassins, use them to draw the assassins into traps. Only we can carry ourselves to the next tier and then to challenger. We play as one, win as one! oh who am I kidding I'm silver nobody going to listen to me. :P

Id say some of it is people deal with idiots so often they have little patience for people who appear to be playing bad even if it is only a weak moment. After having repeated games over months with people just sucking, ones patience dissapears. Not an excuse and doesnt make it right, but it is the reality of the situation.

Actually, I feel like Silver I and Gold V is literally the worst place to be if you want a good, satisfying game.

Bronze people tried, some were toxic, but they tried, and often failed.

Silver 5 & 4 is major blame game. Everyone thinks they're Faker or Bjergsen, and they can run over everyone else. Also, there's always a guy that talks about your mom.

Silver 3 is less that guy that talks about your mom, but the huge tilt games begin to go away. When I was in Silver 4 & 5, I'd go on ten game win streaks, then ten game loss streaks. Here, it begins to even out.

Silver 2 I got out of it fairly quickly.

Being in SIlver I and playing with Gold Vs, really is a bummer. Literally, they think the game is over at five minutes. Somebody gets fed, gg, they give up. I have about seven games straight where I gave this mini speech about giving up. Literally sounded like this,

"Damn, you Silver Is and Gold Vs give up so easy. If America gave up this easily, we'd be the United States of Britain."

If you want to get out, find a duo partner and be in complete communication. Find the FOTM champion. Use na.op.gg to your advantage, and always look up your teammates. Some guy wants ADC? Look him up. If he plays mostly top and has a 20% win ratio with Lucian after 40 games, yeah you can still his role. It's probably better. Always understand what your up against so you can prepare around it.

I made it to Gold playing Ashe, Sona, Soraka, Braum, Caitlyn, and a little Ahri. Ashe was FOTM but I mained her since last season, and Soraka kind of shined in there for a couple of days.

Keep believing. It took determination and the discovery of a new me before I realized what Gold material was. LoL can be cruel. Just look at my Boards history. Got downvoted because objectifying men get upset when I call that girl on /All Chat a baffoon because of her one-line interruptions on the show.

You can do it.

Agreed.

But to be fair, I am bad. :<

As a player who does this, and frequently gets (rightfully) reported for Negative Attitude, I can say that it is very frustrating when lanes start falling behind, objectives get taken, vision is contested and suddenly you just feel like everything is falling apart very quickly.

Thing is though, playing from behind just isn't fun for a lot of people. It involves losing team fights, barely saving objectives only to have them taken once everyone respawns again, going to ward and getting caught out, and lots of other stuff that just keeps adding up.

I rarely start getting negative until 20 minutes when I try to surrender and I get 3 people who say no or even worse, 2 people. When 2 people say no even when the rest of the team knows it's over, that's when I know the game is going to go on forever because over half the team has already given up (including myself).

I get negative because I've played this kind of game several times before, where we go until 40 minutes just slowly losing and not really gaining any ground, but we have two or three people who just refuse to surrender even though they aren't able to push or trade or get objectives. You're not playing the game if all you do is defend and never get a single opening.

Literally the only way I climbed out of bronze was shutting up people like that. I suck at league lol

##I can agree 100% with this post.

I had a match that summed up this post. (sadly I can only remember our ADC and their ADC; Support, Mid, and Jungler are substitute icons) MissFortune : Crap... I have my AP runes/masteries. Sona : That's fine! AP MF OP! Yasuo (Me) : Yeah. You should be fine, just build AD. . . . Time passes (probably 5-10 minutes) . . . Draven --- Double Kill MissFortune : GG MissFortune : surr20 Yasuo : Dude, it's only two kills. . . . More time (about 25 minutes now) . . . I'm fed, and Draven is fed. We team fight and I come out the victor because of my Wind Wall... MissFortune : ty for carrying us Yasuo a few seconds later - dies again MissFortune : surrender?

I felt useless because this is a team game, and this negative player impacted so much more by acting defeated over nothing. What sucks even more is the Draven wasn't that good and his build didn't have any damage early on. --- item 3072 was his first done item.

You can EASILY win a game that's 40-60 in the enemy's favor. Seen it happen tons of times.
