So supports are running flash smite on stuff like alistar now.

I think cinderhulk is a little over-tuned now ehh?

At least it means they aren't taking Exhaust...I guess. If you ask me, people are just experimenting, falling for hype, and mimicking what they think is the "new trend".

Are they doing well with it though? Somehow I doubt it. Exhaust is so much stronger on a support.

i'd rather not go back to the assassin meta because we all know how much fun that was

I tried that once. It blew.

i made this thread a few days ago. i watched a challenger ranked steam with both tanky supports. both top lane tanks and both jugnlers havign cinderhulk... seriously 6 cinderhulks in one game.. i agree this really needs to be toned down

By that logic, we should nerf flash. So many games I've been in had ten people with it! D:

It's ok, they trade it for exhaust. It adds diversity: You want more tanky or more CC? You have a choice it seems.

? exhaust is mediocre compared to what supports have in their kits. naut support with cinder hulk is always fun to vs.

That's horrible lol, must be Wood 5 Division!

Well at least you don't see that one particular strategy in every game. Nice to see some strategic diversity beyond exhaust on support, teleport top, heal adc, ignite mid, and flash on basically everyone.

And considering how low a support's income is, they're not going to benefit much from cinderhulk's passive if they don't buy a lot of HP items (which a lot of supports can't with that income). And a botrk will take care of that anyway.

So now we'll see if Riot is okay with this, due to tradeoffs elsewhere, or if they retune Cinderhulk to be less useful in lane

I believe Ignite applies reduced healing on the target. The target, of course, will most likely be the enemy adc, who generally runs Heal. By cutting 50% on the enemy adc's Heal, you are rendering that ability void, at the cost of CC which many supports already have.
