Camille in a nutshell

How this champion got actually released in the game like this makes me wonder what kind of drugs the design team is smoking, her E is basically an ultimate on a 6s CD, her Q with trinity is basically darius ults on 4s base CD.

The worst of all, is that someone made this and NOBODY, for a second stopped him and said something like "hey man, dont you think you're going a bit too far?".

Not denying that she isn't really strong and needs nerfs, but the video doesn't point out how far ahead she was or how behind the enemy was.

A 20-0 riven cant do this.

Her mobility is literally out of this planet.

Ralanr6 votes

But what about a 20-0 Lee? A 20-0 Hecarim? A 20-0 Vi?

Again I don't deny that she needs nerfs, but I'd like to see at least builds when being shown evidence.

Eedat2 votes

Nope. Their mobility isn't even close to on par with hers. At least a champ like Hec's mobility is gated by long cooldowns after he blows his load. Camille has ludicrous accounts of mobility on no cooldown that they shoved a massive attack speed steroid on for no reason. 600+ true damage nukes on no cooldown with double AA resets. Fuck it, pack a shit ton of sustain on her 90% slow. And that ult. Jesus Christ that ult. Can't flash away from it. Can't QSS it. Can't even kill her because it stays after she's dead for her team to finish you off

I have no clue what they were thinking. Time to Azir her and wait for a rework in 3 years

Yes I can :)

do you see darius able to do this when ahead? chasing people across the map while stunning them and 100-0 them in 2 seconds?

because i don't

Ralanr7 votes

I mean, it's not like Darius's kit has that level of mobility in the first place. Lee or Hecarim would have been a better example.

Ahristocats5 votes

hecarim can't switch targets easily due to the long cd on his E which is also his entire burst and requieres him to run a long distance Lee mobility? you're kidding? his mobility inside a fight is insane, but outside a fight it's far more limited Q needs targets, and W requieres wards/minions and has the cd increased by 50% of you don't do it on a champ

Camille is stupid, we don't need to compare her i fucking hate her E i don't understand why a champion that tanky (even with her tankiness nerf) happens to be a fucking diver that stun in AOE+mobile af+ deals DPS like a skirmisher with her E bonus AS and Q cd+stupid 1k true damage

Ralanr5 votes

So basically I shouldn't be asking for builds, KDA, and level difference in the evidence? Even when I'm agreeing with the fact that she is much too strong?

Ahristocats5 votes

No you shouldn't, because even if she happens to be ahead such thing can't be done by other champions when ahead, maybe vi can do it but vi is also broken, hecarim is on the strong side but definitly can't do this

that's why

Ralanr5 votes

So I should not question this stuff even though I do not have the knowledge of a plat and above player? Just flat out agree without any explanation beyond a video of someone who is probably fed doing ridiculous shit?

I've seen a video of a fed Galio blowing stuff up, does that make Galio OP and I should just accept that?

Is it really so hard to provide as much information as possible to support your point?

I think the issue here isn't exactly what you're catching. You're trying to explain what happened logically.

"Why did she do so much damage? how many levels up was she? what was her items? what were their items? How does that translate into a champion skill level and gold lead for advantage?"

when the main issue is something you've already pointed out yourself as well. You've seen other champions able to generate this much damage, so how is it special?

Rubick is trying to point out why it's special when you're focusing on all the other issues that literally any other champ can acquire with a decent snowball. you're missing the forest for the trees.

Camille started the video at ~25% health and then killed 7 of the enemy team in the span of 54 seconds from the time of the first engage. the fight started with camille in baron bit, went to top tower tri bush, spanned all the way to top inhibitor tower, around mid inhib, down past bottom inhibitor tower, and ended back at bottom inhibitor. netting 7 kills in almost 50 seconds flat and spanning a distance almost the whole length of SR to boot.

meaning Camille somehow demonstrated an ability to shield and heal enough to kill 7 of the enemy in less than a minute while starting with 1/4 health, receiving no healing or shielding from allies, and being able to move a distance of almost equal to the entire length of the map WHILE being able to take enough time to murder the ENTIRE enemy team 1 1/2 times over.

some champions have good enough sustain in 1v1 fights to do this. some champions kill fast enough to do this. some champions can move fast enough to do this. The point is that camille did ALL THREE of these. She self healed and shielded herself through 7 consecutive fights, winning all of them, and flying through the map at a pace that Mordekaiser could probably only barely squeek out if he_ just walked the whole time_. Mordekaiser could probably only make that run in the same aount of time if he never once stopped to attack literally anything. Camille killed 7 champions while doing it. Morde could have sustained through it just like her if he was just as fed, but he couldnt do it nearly as fast.

Vi could do it almost as fast as camille, but Vi has no sustain. She would have died before the end. exact same goes for lee. he has the damage and mobility, not the sustain. Camille hits really hard, sustains and shields really well, and moves really, really fast. items and levels dont matter. it's all in the kit here. that's all you need to know.

Wow a smart post, hard to see those around here.

I don't see why Camille is any worse than a Yasuo. To me they are both good champs when you know how to use them, and they are shit when you misuse their kits. Both high mobility champs with CC but can be shutdown by CC or just knowing when to engage them and when to avoid their bursts. Camille is more burst dependent than Yas, her Q2 is really her main damage output outside of AA's

Sire Hippington7 votes

well, Darius is an juggernaut, so he lacks mobillity. I certainly have seen a fed talon or Zed doing similar things, same with a fed Lucian or Yi. If you have quick damage and enough mobillity, cleaning up scattered fights is quite easy once your fed.

Past tense. As in those examples have happened in the past.

have happened in the past.

GREAT what happened in the past? WE NERFED THEM ALL

Ralanr5 votes

Yeah, like we should do with Camille.

I'm not disagreeing that she needs nerfs, just that ALL THE EVIDENCE SHOULD BE PRESENT WHEN DISCUSSING THIS SUBJECT.

BECAUSE THAT IS HOW YOU CAN MAKE THE MOST FAIR ASSUMPTIONS.

TWITCHTV ERONATE2 votes

its almost like you intended to use the present there just for this response lol

Sire Hippington6 votes

well, she's 2 level up on victor and 3 levels up on the rest, so she's certainly pretty far ahead

Ralanr4 votes

Thank you.

1 up on Viktor at the start of it all, she didn't get level 13 until the end of the Quadrakill.

MissingKayo7 votes

Doesn't mention any items from Camille or her victims, fails to acknowledge Taliyah did the majority of the damage in the first part, ignores the fact that Jhin and Fiora were both out of position and low health, ignores that Malzahar was out of position, ignores that Viktor was out of position. And the general fact that most of her opponents were several levels beneath her.

Seems fine.

Under their tower, 2 screens away from her = out of position.

You should probably go work woth riot design team, they seem to think that theres no problems with abominations like this.

MissingKayo4 votes

Jhin was alone, Fiora was alone. Both were almost dead. And they were out in the open. Camille just finished them off.

Malzahar was 4 levels behind Camille and stayed in a 1v2 situation under tower. Anyone could have done the same in that case.

Viktor ran out in front of his team instead of waiting for Jhin and Ivern. And subsequently got killed because he didn't respect her power when he was only at 60% health.

Dominick Destine4 votes

Yasuo and Lee Sin are brokenly overpowered.

Camille just has high mobility.

deadlychuck1 votes

And free healing, uniquely optimal shielding, and mixed % max HP damage, and true damage.

Literally none of those parts are needed for her, they are just added into the kit for extra power. Like how ekko's E also has an execute attached to it, or how his Q slows. They're not need, they just function to push his power beyond that of other champions, and demand compensation, resulting in power creep.

Hethalean3 votes

She did die in the end. That's something. I know that it is possible now to kill her. ;)

Pale Pirate2 votes

Doesn't show how fed she was, but yeah, her ability to do things others couldn't is absurd.

sphinxthelion72 votes

So what. Nearly any champ can do that if fed.
