Increase Rengar's ! Warning Range

The whole point of the ! was to give people warning when a Rengar was in the area, but pretty much after he gets 6 trophies, it never shows before he is mid jump, this means the only warning you get it when he is jumping onto you, which is no different than before the ! was added, Riot needs to increase the range that it will warn you so that he can't just inst jump on you with no warning, like before.

Or the ! is bugged and isn't showing correctly when he is within range.

I don't know what you're on about. The only time I've been jumped by Rengar without the exclamation is when I was in range for a jump and he jumped as soon as he could. Maybe you're just not noticing it? Or he's jumping you right when he passes into range but even then there's about a half second of warning.

There's a sound aswell and as you said its 1/2 second which is basically him being mid leap, the warning is he is on you at that point.

that 1/2 sec is BEFORE he leaps as in a 1/2 sec warning that he's nearby. Sorry I wasn't clear enough.

i haven't had any issues with it i usually know when rengar is nearby with his ult and i alert my team and typically have at least one or two people to back me up should he jump on me

the current range of it seems fine. perhaps an extra 100-200 or so units if anything simply because its about the range of his leap and doesn't give nearly as much warning i'd personally like if they're extremely aggro and pounce right away

If the person is playing assassin Rengar (i.e. Boots of Mobility and Ghostblade), you're probably going to need to have godlike response time to do anything before you're dead. In my opinion, this is less to do with Rengar's assassination pattern and more to do with your response time to an assassin Rengar. It's fairly easy to flash away, Zhonya, or simply reposition yourself to a point where he can't Bola you.

A few tips from someone who has a few hundred games as Rengar:

Clumping around minions can block your escape, but it can also stop him from immediately using Bola on you. This will do a few things. He will use another ability or save his stacks. This is good to do, because he will either use another ability or he will save his stacks (i.e. no bola either way).

Don't stand in the narrow part of your tower, and don't stand just within tower range. Force Rengar to dive further than he'd want to. Force him to miss his Bola by out maneuvering him.
